Me and my better half often find ourselves searching for a good roast on a Sunday. She is vegetarian and I’m not. I have to say this is the first place we have ever both cleaned our plates. Amazing staff, amazing service and the food was to die for probably one of the best local pubs I’ve ever eaten at in the UK.

Taken my client who I care for two days in a row now to the stag, absolutely outstanding service, support, and hospitality, the food is amazing and the environment is lovely, would highly! Recommend

The Stag is a traditional country pub in the pretty village of Little Easton a picturesque rural village, yet we’re also conveniently close to Great Dunmow, Stansted Airport the M11 and A120
We are a free house with an extensive selection of real ales on tap. We offer delicious home-cooked meals for lunch Weds to Sun. In the evenings, we often host a quality food truck so you can enjoy a delicious meal with your drink. We host a variety of events each month, including live music, quiz nights, book clubs, social evenings, and more. We can also host events for you including weddings and wakes.
All are assured of a welcome including families, cyclists, walkers and friendly dogs.
