Lovely people, nice clean place. Beer is a bit flat ish but I'm a northerner so I'm used to a decent head on my beer. I don't like them South of Derby pints lol.

First but not last visit Kim the barmaid Kim introduced her self asked my name and that of every customer as long as l was there never had such a genuine welcoming interacted with genuine interest and warmth to every customer

Since joining the RBLHalstead Branch I have never had any contact from them? Is it a case of having to call in often to find out 'whats on' or by word or mouth or? I receive plenty of information from RBL Great Waltham which a mate there forwards but zilch from Halstead? Consequently I've attended lots of events in Gt Waltham? I've mentioned the poor comms a couple of times before! Should I reluctantly transfer my allegience to another RBL Branch? Come on Halstead RBL say something if only b' off!

Friendly and welcoming, inexpensive beer and a pool table as well.Rugby on a Friday night and Saturday afternoon and the local team drinks here as well.Wider selection of ales would get 5 starts!!
