it is a good store, as it now has the post office inside, at the rear left hand side of store, plus they have lots of books, etc to buy as normal.

Store is being neglected by WH Smith. The staff inform me they have been told by head office that 'we are being understaffed for a reason.' given that this is our only post office in Harlow Town that doesnt feel acceptable. The main desk looks like it hasnt been tidied in a decade. Which might explain why your undertrained overworked staff don't know how to register that a click and collect has arrived on the system. So we dont get confirmation emails to tell us our order is in. For that reason i was calling the store to check if my order was there before making the trip into town. 'we cant answer the phone because we dont have the staff'. WH smith are clearly wanting to close this branch but cant because its the post office.

They let the phone ring and they ignore it on purpose to get you to just come in so they don't have to deal with you its an absolute joke of a store needs either a new manager or a complete new team

Very rude staffsecurity guard ignored me three times said I hi still no response anyway went to the till no one serve me rang the Bell 4 times sill no one come a lady just round the corner who knew dame well I was at till waiting came to the till nopology very rude won't go in there again will be complaining soon bad customer service again lady at till was rude she been told three times it joke she horrible wonder why won't give me name probably she knows going take it ther now and also tall boy no hep wot so ever

5 people in queue In front of me and 4 behind, two people at the counter one person pushed in! Would be fair if they didn't serve her staff should of told her to queue wait like everyone else! Some people are so selfish not right.

Although the worker was very helpful she needs some help when there are more people queuing up..Not sure why the post office was put in WH Smith in the first place?

Shockng that the boss of whsmith thinks that they are deemed essential retailers in a global crisis, very overpriced and after this crisis has ended it wont be a shop i will be using, another example of a greedy employer puting profit before people

Only problem was the post office in the shop didn't have the means to print an address label that i had downloaded. So i had to pay nearly £5 for the signed for delivery instead of mailing it for free

The post office is hard to find at first, but once found, very helpful. All the staff in WHSmiths are the same. Ask for help and it's freely given!
