Excellent choice and quality of food. Can get extremely busy so worth making a booking. Lovely venue and outlook with outdoor sitting for summer. Can get noisy and stuffy in winter. Check there are no events happening in grounds on carriage centre website as it can be quite busy on those weekends with on site attendees... read full comment

One of those hidden gems. Lovely, peaceful surroundings. Had breakfast and lunch, both very filling and tasty., Didn't have to wait long, food was served hot and with a smile from the very friendly and efficient staff.If you just want to pop in for tea/coffee and cake you wont be disappointed, all the cakes are home made... read full comment

Excellent food, spotless restaurant and really friendly staff. Always made to feel welcome, wether it’s a visit just for coffee or tucking into one of the well prepared meals. Thoroughly recommend

Beautiful countryside cafe’ set in the Essex countryside. We are lucky to be based at one of the countries most prestige’s carriage driving centres. We serve all locally sourced homemade food. In the summer sit on the terrace and enjoy watching the horses, or come winter enjoy our cozy inside.
