The third Costa in a fortnight that I have visited, and the third that I was told the dishwasher is broken and had to have a takeaway cup. I didn't stay this time.I rather think it is down to staff costs rather than mechanical failure. Very disappointing for what once a premium brand.

Enjoyable cup of coffee and cake. Not busy (Sunday early afternoon) so it was an opportunity for a quiet catch-up with my sister, comfy seats, no irritatingly noisy children and the chance to people-watch.
