Unfortunately the prices have let this charity and the staff down. Charging £20 for a NEXT dress just because it has a tag on still. I understand you are trying to raise funds for others, but vulnerable people also shop in charity shops as they are meant to be affordable.Charity shops like Barnardo?s are now directly contributing to the fast fashion industry and clothing waste, as people would rather buy something new for the same price as what you are charging for a ten year old T-shirt for £10!

Member of staff was very helpful, was unable to carry the item to car due to having my baby with me and the lovely lady carried it also had cleaned it and set it up prior to me collecting to make sure it?s okay. Thank you so much

Unfortunately I won?t be donating to this shop again in the future. Whilst I respect that not everything I had donated would be wanted, the shop assistants were quite frankly rude. I understand that it?s a busy job taking in donations and organising, however a small thank you, or a smile wouldn?t go amiss. Being made to feel that you are a huge inconvenience for taking time out of your day to donate is not encouraging. This is the worst experience I?ve had donating, every other charity/shop has been a pleasure to deal with.

I couldn't imagine I would come across a dress prized as £25 in a charity shop. The toys some of them £15. I thought it was so called ,",Believed in Children".And a charity should be beneficial to the community and the children in a reasonable way. I saw the same dress online @ Dorothy Perkins and it was about £17. To imagine it was £25 in a Charity shop. The woman isn't serious, (elderly sort of, blonde and tall) Crazy prices . When is that friendly gentleman coming back

I?ve just dropped off some children?s clothes to this shop. NEVER EVER would I donate to them again. How very rude the lady was there. (Old Blonde one) she said the clothes best not need cleaning otherwise they will go to the rag man. How rude. I took the bag back and said I will take them else where. she grabbed it back and said she will look through it and took it to the back. This is the 2nd time she has been rude about donations. I?d rather take them to the refuge centre where they would be appreciated.

Spoke to a gentleman on the phone. Very unhelpful, brusque and abrupt.

Wife tried to drop off numerous items today. Shop assistant very abrupt/rude. She had gone to great trouble to sort them out.

Really nice Charity Shop and everything is reasonably priced. Have brought some nice curtains, handbag and kitchen items in the last few weeks. To be honest did not like this shop when first opened as everything seemed really overpriced and not that great quality. It all seems to have changed - certainly for the better. Its lovely that people donate to support a charity and hopefully peeps are not buying to sell on ebay.
