HAVING ORDERED ON LINE I FOUND OUT THAT THIS STORE WOULD BE DESPATCHING MY ITEMS, I WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS A 2 MAN DELIVERY , WHEN IT ARRIVED ON BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY IT WAS A SINGLE MAN DELIVERY, THE DRIVER BROUGHT DOWN THE FIRST SHEET OF OSB 3 & COULDNT STOP RESULTING IN HIM HITTING MY FRONT DOOR FRAME CAUSING DAMAGE TO IT, I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICES ON TUESDAY & WAS TOLD THAT SHE WOULD PASS ON MY DETAILS TO THE STORE MANAGER AS SHE COULD NOT DO ANYTHING, IT IS NOW 3-9-23 & I AM STILL WAITING FOR A CALL FROM SOMEONE, MY OSB 3 SHEET WASS SLIGHTLY DAMAGED BUT MY DOOR FRAME WILL COST HUNDREDS OF POUNDS TO FIX, IF ANYONE BOTHERS TO ANSWER THIS PLEASE DONT WASTE MY TIME TELLING ME TO CONTACT YOU ON SOCIAL MEDIA AS I DO NOT USE ANY OF THOSE SITES & YOU ALREADY HAVE ALL MY DETAILS, BECAUSE OF THE WAY I HAVE BEEN TREATED BY THIS COMPANY I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE, MY DOOR & FRAME ARE LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD & I DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO JUST HAVE IT FIXED AT MY EXPENSE, I THOUGHT WICKES WAS A REPUTABLE COMPANY, CLEARLY THEY ARE NOT, NOT IF THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS

Bought a kitchen; Aweful! Terrible Customer Service, blamed me for everything and refused to return my phone calls. They say that you can cancel your order anytime before delivery and then literally the day of delivery the fitters call up and delay everything so you CANT cancel. Then they go on holiday mid job! DO NOT BUY FROM WICKES! You have been warned

Very poor service. They have a delivery service which delivers fence panels in drawing room and a bunch of customer service staff awaiting to tell ' sorry'. Will never recommend this store in future.

Very poor delivery experience suffered on my latest delivery. 2-man courier very rude when asked to put heavy fence panels into garden (requires two people and I am one person so seems a sensible request). They did it but panels were left in the most difficult position you could imagine. Thinking twice about using Wickes again, especially as their customer service was standard response which is unsympathetic and uncaring. No such thing as customer service anymore with some retailers and Wickes seems to be one of the worst out there.

Unlike other DIY suppliers (B&Q) it was easy to find someone who knew exactly the products we required even though he was working in a totally different area, very easy arranging delivery and just flew through the tills thumbs ? up all round.

I am writing a review as I have now used Wickes on a few occasions, Rayleigh being my local store. I am giving 2 stars overall as their products aren't anything amazing, but nothing to grumble about either.The reason for not giving more stars is their poor delivery service, which I have used on 2 occasions now. The first time, my order was completely lost, was never delivered on the specified day and then claimed that they didn't even have my order. In the end it needed to be sourced from the Wickford branch and was delivered 2 days late. More recently I had a second order to be delivered. Confirmation that morning stated between 10am and 3pm. By 4:30pm I rang the store when it still hadn't turned up. After calling twice I finally reached someone the third time, at which point I had to wait for a call back from the dispatch manager. Apparently it was a really busy day and all orders are delayed, but he will get it dispatched right away and be with me within an hour, max hour and a half. I needed to be out the house at 6pm so this was fine, but also confirmed where they could leave it if they were delayed further. Come 6:15pm, still no delivery so I left the house. The SMS confirmation said it was delivered at 6:30pm (2hrs after calling) and to top it off, it was delivered to my neighbours house, not the designated safe place. The confirmation also noted that the order was created at 17:04 that day, so I suspect my delivery wasn't even due to be delivered until after I called the store.If their delivery service was a little more robust or reliable then it would be great, but I fail to see why they even have "notified delivery slots" and "parcel tracking" if they're not going to adhere to them anyway.

NOBODY HELPED WITH MY ENQUIRY!1. Asked one of the staff to help me with ready to fit in kitchen cabinets. Result - nobody knows how to do it. Lady said there was a leaflets helping with measurements, but she doesn?t know where they are.2. Kitchen Show room assistant even didn?t get bother to accept me and give me a quote for kitchen! Basically she just explained how expensive it is and nothing else.Very disappointed of your customer service!

Better by far than B&Q, staff were helpful to a point. A little pricey for products but would return. 2022 update. They need trolleys with child seats. Sometimes you need stuff and have to put the little people somewhere....
