Appointment cancelled without reason less than 24 hours in advance. Now they won't answer the phone to enable me to re-book and no answer-phone message available. Really poor.

Waited 3 months for my appointment, and to have it cancelled 24 hours before hand and no other appointment for 6 weeks is unacceptable. Ridiculous customer "service"

First time at this opticians.. I suffer from claustrophobia and anxiety problems which at other opticians was treated with the feeling of "Just get over it" but here Jo and Dr. Hancock as well as the rest of the staff were very understanding. They kept checking on me while I was waiting and through the various examinations. When actually having the eye test I asked if the door could be left open so I could see outside, this was no problem at all, something that I was told couldn't be done at other opticians. I have nothing but gratitude for their care and understanding.

I cannot fault the opticians who work at this particular branch, really friendly and professional. However, the general customer service is far from satisfactory. Firstly, my glasses were lost either on arrival or in store, I was never really given an explanation as to where they went and no real apology for the inconvenience. I know these things happen but a phone call wouldâ??ve been appreciated to notify me, rather than me going to collect them to be told theyâ??d been lost. Secondly, I went in to enquire how I could go about getting my glasses repaired which I assumed would be a service they provided, to be told quite rudely there was nothing to be done. Found the staff really unfelpful and like I was an inconvenience. In future the staff need to explain when customers spend lots of money on glasses that there is no repairs service available. I have since sought a local repair company who have done an excellent job and will go to them in future.

Would give 0 Stars if I could...... Never answer the phone, blackmailed me with my prescription for lenses. Took over 3 months from sight test to receiving my first pair of lenses. Ordered in wrong prescription...... all with minimal attempt to give me any customer service to recompensate.

Dr Jana is an amazing optician and the shop manager does what she can but a 4 week delay due to wrong parameters of the glasses mounted into frames and eventually deformed frames at the price of £280 is a little bit too much. Iâ??m very thankful for £60 discount but to be honest I would have preferred a refund that I was refused due to the policy.

Absolutely the worst opticians I have ever visited. Only gave one star cause I couldn't give none. Staff are unprofessional whispering about you when you can hear them! I might need new glasses not a hearing aid!!!! Never will I set foot in their premises again.

I want to thank Jo at the Saffron Walden branch for her excellent customer service. She is always polite, problem solves effectively and is always extremely helpful and kind. Thank you an amazing member of staff.

Worst ever branch! We ordered a pair of replacement glasses for which we were duly charged and paid for straight away in mid June. We were then contacted by another branch saying that the frame we selected wasn't in stock and we were not helped or offered any alternative solution, only a vague, "may be your regular branch will have one in stock, okay?" After five weeks we started worrying that they had forgotten us, so we went to the shop where we were told that maybe the frame was not available at all but we were welcome to select a much more expensive one and pay the difference to which we replied: "we fail to see how this going to help us? Why do we have to pay for your mistake which it is not our fault?" All of a sudden, the shop assistant remembered that some stock had been stored in Boots The Chemist and proposed to check. Later, she phoned to confirm that she had found the frame! Finally, we were able to get hold of the new glasses, but, sadly, the whole saga took five weeks, not very good, as my husband had to drive with damaged lenses. Why do they ask for money upfront when the item cannot be guaranteed? We were left wondering about the stock records. The person concerned is often off-hand to deal with but on this occasion the matter was amicably resolved.

The one star is for the Great frames.
No stars for the lenses . They are the worst quality ever! Really disappointed and the biggest waste of money ever! Literally awful.
