Well... hunt the staff!!\\nEventually got a member of staff who was more intent on selling us insurance.... also his knowledge of the English language was very poor... even when we made our purchase.. he STILL tried to give us insurance..... Good store with lots of choice.... just let the manager know... customer's are usually right ?

We had our food delivered before the time stated which was nice. Food was amazing, I don't know how they make it so affordable and not lose the quality. Large portions and extremely tasty. Thanks Curry Pot. Totally stuffed and happy.

i ordered a pair of JBL earphones the man who brought it out was clearly rushing and dropped my headphones onto the floor, no apology then proceeded to not give me the order as he could not verify my purchase even though i had my confirmation email and had followed all the steps required through i even had my bank card and statement for proof of purchase, he was then sent away by one of his colleagues as they could even see how utterly disgusting his service was to me, another lady and man then was able to very helpfully sort me out and they were very kind and knew what they were doing.

My cousin recently bought a tv & it was faulty so took it back to be told " we cant accept it back because its been taken out of the box" !!! This place is like a monty python sketch.Better to go to john lewis or stellisons & receive a far better service.

Friendly and helpful staff but didn't have what I wanted instore. Advised to order online. Or travel several miles and back to a main store

They performed a poor install of our dishwasher, resulting in serious damage, after months of correspondence they are continuing to put obstacles in the way of helping us. Avoid them, and certainly don?t allow them to install anything!

Been here quite a few times. Staff are generally friendly and range of goods in-store is sufficient.However I want to drop a warning (which likely applies to Currys in general, not just this particular store) in regards to ordering anything expensive online.Last weekend I ordered an expensive laptop online, which I collected from this store yesterday (23/01). However just hours before, I noticed that I missed a call from an unknown number, which after looking it up on Google, was a scam call pretending to be from Currys. Apparently said number has been pretty proficient lately at targeting customers who have just ordered anything from Currys. Makes me wonder how they obtain customer details that quickly ?As for my new laptop, seems to work fine, so no issues there.In short: Beware when ordering online from Currys, as a scammer might attempt to call you afterwards. Stay vigilant.

Ordered and paid for a new apple watch in-store on 14th Dec to be collected next day. On collection I was informed the item was no longer available. No immediate refund could be made, instead the money would be paid into my bank within five working days. Terrible service. I will not be recommending this company to anyone. Absolute joke.

Nothing worse than sales people who don't listen.Rather than waste my time with unnecessary sales bs, just let me pay for my goods and leave. If I want extended warranties I'll be sure to use someone like Money Supermarket to get the best cover for far less.

Gave this branch my PC to be sent of to a repair shop as I have the care and repair insurance plan (Took 30 minutes as no one at repair desk). A week and a half goes by and I hear nothing from them, I ring constantly and don't pick up, I even email and still hear nothing back. So I travel to the store too see if my pc has been fixed. I then see my pc in the exact same spot it was left in when I brought it in to get fixed. The woman then tells me it has not been repaired. I then ask for a replacement as in my insurance plan it says, if it takes longer than a week you can ask for a replacement PC while they repair your one, She says no...Then she and her manager told me they will contact someone to see if they get the PC written off. I said this is fine but I asked that if my pc wasn't getting repaired, then could I have it back whilst awaiting the decision to get it written off as I work from home and desperately need my pc, this was followed by no again...I have felt that this branch has treated me very poorly and not complied with what my insurance plan states, very disappointed.Still awaiting to hear back from them and still doesn't pick up when I ring..

Checked online for an oven. Went to Southend to confirm it was what was wanted. Yep, all good, 4 in stock and able to fit new one and remove old one. Mark, who dealt with me, was spot on.

Always short on staff, otherwise they are helpful, if your questions are within their range of knowledge. I have noticed that sometimes I know more about the technology they offer than the staff there.

Thanks to the lovely Kelly and her superb help, Shopping is once again an enjoyable experience. My Mum needed new tvs, Kelly arranged everything she needed and explained all that was needed to know re payment and delivery. Perfect customer service. I highly recommend asking for Kelly's assistance should you shop here and need sound advice and a quality service.
