Manager is unprofessional and likes to shout your amount of your account in front of everyone instore at the counter,when it should be private,and most of the girls there just take the piss and are clueless,need more training I think,1 of the girls no names mentioned is absolutely rude and thinks she's the best,all of them are kids learning so what do you expect ??no experience,just all makeup and hair extensions,no brains

Metro bank in southend is really, good. The customer service is always top notch and they take time to make you feel comfortable and sort out any issues you might have, I highly recommend this branch, they was also extremely patient with me when helping to set up online banking as I wasn't as up to date with it all as some.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind when I had to close my sons accounts as he passed away ,and his bank Card's was taken.Thanks to all the staff at a terrible time.

At the counter she is frowning while taking the money of my hand then asks owmuch is it?I got a bit offended and you tell me after you count it?I thought that will cheer her up but she stayed miserable .Count the money without telling me owmuch it is gave me the card and the receipt back.Im standing there as needed more help but she is not offering and assistant.Then I said need help with my app on my phone she pretend to book me in and told me to sit down.I sat down but knew I'm not booked luckily after half and hour my other half arrived asked her to check at an other counter and she said you are not booked that explained the two people that got served before meSo there were no one else waiting and got served at the end.This review and star is only for her not for the entire staff .

Brilliant opening times especially Sundays.Staff really polite & friendly ,always willing to help.The banking app is really easy to use as wellI wouldn't bank with anyone else.Thanks to all that work there.Recommend 100%

Ridiculous ??Put on waiting list and ask for waiting in the bank and 1 and hour hours later still no one service, bad customer service as the staff is not very helpful!!

The staff themselves are not to bad but always seem to American (as they are) with their chit chat and lack of numbers of cashier's making wait times longer than necessary. Also you are unable to set up standing orders or payments to a specific third party bank account more than once, so if I want to pay say a Barclays account with a reference number and then again with a different reference number, I have to make one payment and then go in and change the reference number and make the next payment which defeats the whole object of having standing orders and not having to worry about it. Finally if I want to cancel a payee from my payees list it appears I can only do this in branch and not on the app where you set them up. This is very poor and need to sort this out!

Went in to make an enq after the web application failed, Christopher was brilliant, friendly, explained everything, opened the account in mins and got my card there and then! Log in on line and app is easy. Met the manager who was similarly very helpful. Lovely calm spacious place even if you have to wait it's a pleasant place to watch the world go by. Staff greet you as you walk in which is a nice touch and it's doggy friendly too! Well done guys!
