I went in to book my flu jab in person, but was refused and told I could only do this via the app or website. I explained that I tried and couldn?t work it out. I was told they?re too short staffed and too busy to do this for me. This despite no other customer in store besides me, having just spent 10 mins on their computer checking the appointment of another customer before me. Really poor customer service - as if I was just a nuisance, when all I wanted to do is avoid getting really unwell

Terrible chemist I have been back twice already for my prescription and even tried ringing them they don't answer the phone I have been waiting for my prescription over a week now the staff in that branch needs to be changed they have no customer service skills what so ever and not doing there job properly very poor

Very helpful and friendly staff despite being extremely busy, nothing is too much trouble. Unfortunately there seems to be alot of rude customers yet they deal with everyone in the same up beat manner. 100% would recommend and more respect is needed.

Must be the worst boots shop in the country. They tell you to come back for your prescription in an hours time. I come back three hours later and have to wait half an hour outside the shop (because they close for lunch - why can't they rotate their lunch breaks like every other store does?) only to be told that actually its not ready and to try again tomorrow. They also don't bothering answering the phones.

If they've got your prescription in stock, they're pleasant. If they don't (which is often), they are terrible at knowing when they'll be getting it in. More often than not you will be ignored at the counter while they hide behind, chatting and eating. Very dismissive if you have a question about your prescription. NEVER NEVER NEVER answer their phone. Even after you check with them if it's OK to call to see if a prescription has come in.

I have been suffering with a bladder infection which went to my kidneys. I have bladder disease so my GP and consultants are far more vigilant with me. After attending A and E at Southend Hospital I have been treated and monitoried by my own GP and the microbiology team at the London Hospital. I have been on 3 lots of antibiotics for this infection. I suffer with numerous allergies and therefore not all medications are available for my treatment. I was prescribed 6 Nitrofurantoin 100mgs tablets. They were given to me in a pop pack or 2 and 4. Unfortunately I lost 2 of them. I went into Boots and explained this situation to the lady. The lady wasn't the pharmacist, she worked behind the counter. Now I am more than aware it was my fault that I had lost the tablets but it wasn't intentional. I was met with a very hostile response and the lady was extremely unhelpful. I have been taking almost a 100 tablets for 4 weeks and was on the last few to complete my treatment. I have suffered greatly with this and anyone who has any knowledge of antibiotic treatment knows it's essential to complete the full course. I was told to call 111 and go through the motions of awaiting a call back etc. a Ordinarily I would of accepted this response but with the constant repeated narrative that the NHS are under pressure I didn't feel that I was a priority. I am disgusted that this lady didn't even allow the pharmacist to use his own discretion and prescribe 2 antibiotics for myself. I had googled if the pharmacist could do this and he is allowed to make his own judgement accordingly. I had all the paperwork on me from the microbiology team and a full list of the reports and my allergies. Some people have clearly let the bit of power that they were wrongly given during the lockdown go their heads. This womaninadvertently put more pressure on the NHS that her kind have lived the past two years pretending to protect. Disgraceful.

They never have my medication when I ask for it also they never anwser the phone they are rude and very unhelpful, too interested in there private life. I do understand they are busy but not too busy to take phone of the hook, and i do not like being spoken to like a child.

They never have any prescriptions I stock. I've been there on 3 separate occasions for different prescriptions and I'm always told to come back the next day as they don't have it.
