Would give no stars if I could. Staff were rude and patronising. Was told on the phone I didn?t need it to be measured when I said I was confident measuring (I?ve laid loads of floors myself, just not carpet). Get there and the older lady with blond hair tells me they always do measurements themselves and I couldn?t do it on my own. When I said that on the phone I had been told otherwise, she snatched my measurements off of me, told me I needed a massive size and when I questioned it she tried to make me look like a fool by gaslighting me telling me she didn?t say this. Guy behind the counter was smirking at her as if to laugh at me. Zero people skills and zero customer service. Was told to go look at the carpets. At that point I went over and phoned another company who are less than a 5 minute drive away and got it all sorted with them within half hour, carpet chosen, fitter booked and lovely staff.

We have used Ramsden Mills a couple of times and found their products to be excellent. We have a stair carpet from them which is still looking good after 17 years. Similarly bathroom and en-suite vinyls have worn very well. We recently had our kitchen/sun room screeded and laid with a really good quality wood effect vinyl which looks lovely and was laid expertly by one of their excellent fitters Kevin.

We had two separate fittings and were lucky enough to have the same crew for both who were excellent. They were very quick and confirmed every detail with us before doing the job. Very pleased with Ramsden Mills and the fitters. Would happily recommend to anyone.

I would like to express my concerns regarding the carpet and flooring services provided by Ramsden Mills for our new house. While I don't typically write reviews, I feel compelled to share my experience in order to seek resolution. Upon purchasing our home a year ago, we engaged Ramsden Mills to install the carpet and LVT flooring. The financial investment we made was significant, and initially, I had high expectations for the quality of the work. The sales team did not provide much information but were swift in processing our payment and arranging for the installation. We opted for LVT flooring, considering it to be a premium choice for our brand new house, as we desired only the best.Unfortunately, after only three months, we noticed that the LVT flooring started to break with pieces detaching at the sides. We promptly contacted Ramsden Mills, and they sent a fitter to assess the issue, acknowledging that improper installation might have caused the problem due to movement. The issue was resolved, and we enjoyed the floor for an additional three months. However, to our disappointment, the same problem reoccurred, with the floor once again coming apart at the sides. We reached out to Ramsden Mills, and they mentioned consulting with the LVT company. An inspector was sent to investigate the matter and prepared a report.Regrettably, it has been six months since that interaction, and despite my efforts to communicate with Ramsden Mills, I have yet to receive any follow-up or information regarding the next steps. My attempts to contact them via email have gone unanswered, and when I call, I am repeatedly assured that someone will respond promptly, but no such response is received.I kindly request your intervention in resolving this matter as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Carpet is amazing and so well laid! Fitters were amazing guys. They did scare me, called day before saying carpet was ruined but then got some from another store. Maybe do that first before scaring customers!

Genuinely cannot believe you can receive such a poor experience buying carpets. Younger fella with the tattooed arms and the vape (lol), what a tart. Geeza Obvs isn?t getting at home so is taking it out on the world. Will never go back.
