I'm aware of the situations regarding Royal Mail workers and their awful treatment by the company, but only opening for 2 hours in the early morning (and a further 2 on a Thursday afternoon) is frankly ridiculous. I have never had an issue with the staff at this sorting office however I find the lack of opening hours incredibly awful. Is it a hiring issue? Is it a striking issue? How is a postal service dedicated to deliveries across the entire country simply failing its staff and its customers? Lack of access to my building - access that is clearly marked for tradesmen etc - means that picking up post from here is a hassle as they will try not to serve you unless you have a red slip... A red slip I can't receive due to lack of access.

Absolutely useless, been waiting for my package for more that a week now. No attempted deliveries. Went to see if I can collect at the depot but of course that's closed. What's the point?Tried to call but wait time was over 30 mins too. What a waste of time and money.

Absolutely absurd opening hours!! You have no chance to get your items from the post office if working full time! And if you try to book re delivery, drivers don?t even knock or ring the bell nor leave red slip! Ridiculous

The staff are always very helpful but sadly not impressed with the new opening hours at all and late opening one day a week seriously

Drivers dont leave red slips.When you check tracking then you find out they tried to deliver but no one even rang the door. Long journey to collect items and the opening hours are just unbelievable

This isn't a review about this depot, but about Royal Mail deliveries in general.......A truly awful service. Email tells you that your parcel will be delivered on a certain day but for two days the app tells you that the parcel isn't anywhere near where you live.Try to talk to this company that deals in communication, well that's abysmal. After trying to get through their automated system, which I think is awful, they hope that you'll give up. Once you manage that hurdle, it tells you that there's a 10 minute queue, only for the call to break 5 minutes in.As I say, stay clear of this company, use anyone else. In fact, I would go as far as say pigeon mail would be quicker.ABYSMAL EXPERIENCE, NO IDEA WHAT CONSTITUTES CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Only open in mornings for 2 hours DURING HOURS MOST PEOPLE ARE AT WORK THEMSELVES! Not sure why, but deliveries over last few months are erratic! I have been waiting for delivery of a parcel that they first tried to deliver 2 weeks ago but despite several rebooked deliveries they have failed to deliver on the day booked for (people book for days they will be in their home duh!)??

Was rejected from collecting my parcel because I lost the little red slips. Manager was gas lighting me saying that collecting without the slip was impossible and shouldn't and couldn't ever happened; I've been doing it for 15 plus years, I have ADHD and autism and am forever losing things much less small bits of paper, never an issue until today :-(.Really upset, gonna avoid buying things that use Royal mail as carrier if I can help it :-(

Very helpful to pick your undelivered items. You have 18 days from the moment you receive your Red Royal Mail notification card. Make sure to take this red card with you + an ID document. Friendly staff + plenty of parking space. Cheers.

Not sure why there are a lot of negative reviews, delivery offices are always quiet busy wherever you are but the staff process the queue really quick and are really friendly too (No attitude etc)My only gripe would be there isn't enough parking so you tend to have to park outside on the main road :)

Opening times are absolutely ridiculous given most people work 9-5 and you close at 4 so no time to pick your pacel up. No option from royal mail to redeliver. Incredibly frustrating

The Staff are always friendly and helpful, but one told me they are not leaving parcels anymore for people who are not home as "our bosses are looking for any excuse to sack us, so they all have to be returned here!! As a result, I am visiting this Office every other day, but the staff are always very friendly, helpful and polite. The Business Park is a very nice place to visit.
