My contact lens check was very detailed and with a friendly and approachable lady.The only down side is that I had no invitation to have the check and it was only when I tried to order new lenses and had to go to the store that I was told I should have had the check in October. I was not told that it would cost £50! However, this does not detract from the care I received.

Every single person that I met within the team were so professional and friendly I must say it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, great knowledge and ability to explain what was happening and why, very impressive

I was seen by a locum optician called Atiya. She was absolutely fantastic; friendly, kind, thorough and she explained everything in so much detail. It was the best experience I've had in the 16 years I've had glasses. The reason I deducted a star is because the permanent staff at this store were fairly unfriendly - all but one! It was completely undeserved. My experience was fine, but nothing to write home about. Maybe the staff could work on being more approachable.

I visited Boots today and I met Richard. He was just fantastic! Service was personable, professional and extremely helpful.Left with some sunglasses as felt I needed to buy something to show my appreciation.Thanks Richard! Keep doing what you're doing

There are never dedicated staff for the behind counter medicines, so you inevitably have to join the 15-20min prescriptions queue just to buy common, non-prescription products. I'll get it on Amazon, then.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for eye care. Boots in Regent Arcade have been looking after my eyes for about 4 years now. The opticians are always professional and friendly, the dispensers are polite, friendly and attentive and the prices are very reasonable.

Asked for a quick solution since I lost my glasses. "It takes seven working days, and there's no way any other shop can get them sooner than that" Then I went to Harper and Cooper, had the best service, and my glasses in 24h.

Arrived on time, 15 minutes of waiting was told my 4 year old needed to wear a mask.Very disappointed, children are exempt.

A complete disaster. Varifocals were recommended. Couldnt see out of them. Total waste of time and effort. Requested full refund. Staff somewhat curt and not sympathetic at all. Very upsetting experience and I just want my money back and go somewhere else.

Terrible, went in looking to purchase a new pair of glasses and was completely ignored by staff there, and to top it off one of the women working there was standing there chatting to some friends of hers and completely blocking a section of glasses I was trying to look at.

The gentleman that tested my eyes couldn't have been more attentive. He explained everything but made sure to say he wasn't involved in the sales side of things even though I hadn't mentioned it.
