Bad customers service in cex shop in Cheltenham. 10th of Nov, I bought an acer tablet from here.I couldn't update apps and softwares on it.For that, 12th of Nov i returned the tab to cex shop the salesman said you should take membership then only we can fix it. Then he asked me to show the physical ID proof. Then I said I have all the soft copies in my phone. And I didn't bring my physical copies with me. Then he said to take the Brp Photo copy to give him instead of physical ID proof, after that i came there with my BRP copy and showed it one of the sales women then explained what happened ago. She said according to our rules and regulations we can't accept photo copy. Then i said one of your colleague said to me to take this photo copie to take membership. But she said she can't do anything. I tried to explained her my situation even she didn't llisten and acted as racists then i was so sad and i put it there as free my tab and bill to cex shop then i said you can take it or put in to the waste bin because. I dont need it. I have one request that customers satisfaction is important don't ignore it. Bad experience

Only had time to visit one CEX store in the area and this one had the best range of games by far. Traded in a bunch of games and I didn't spot there was a mistake at the time. But the store corrected the error later which I really appreciated. Great customer service.

Abysmal- Bought a tablet which was faulty- Returned it and was only given vouchers- Bought another Galaxy tablet. Got a Huawei charger with it that does not work- Spent 40 minutes in the shop waiting for the charger which was obviously not checked- It is bordering on stealing, can someone contact me to try and rectify this poor service that you provide people. Galaxy I bought was £145 at CEX and brand new boxed with a proper charger it is £170, so not even that much cheaper. Trying to contact them by phone is impossible, but I understand why they would make it difficult, probably less exposure of a very chavvy service. contact me and rectify

It?s ok if you want to quickly get rid of stuff to make room. However, if you have more patience and time then I?d sell elsewhere as they?ll offer really low and silly prices despite the product being in pristine condition w/ packaging.

Never had an issue in here. Traded in phones and purchased ones. Always been good and friendly staff. Reading other reviews does make me laugh people seem to expect red carpets laid out for them when entering the shops lol

5 staff on site. 3 chatting in the back and only 2 serving customers. The two doing any work were polite and efficient but unfortunately they were hindered by the online website not matching what is actually in stock. ?.. and there is no way to contact the store before travelling to confirm. The number is a national number with recorded messages. No help at all. Don?t trust the website ?. It could be a wasted journey.

I totally get working in retail on a hot day isn't fun, but the staff member today was definitely trying to kill me with his mind. Like, even a tiny crumb of customer service would be better. I queued like 15 minutes to ask if they had an item in stock. The guy looks it up and says, no. None.Okay, fine...but when we leave the store we check the website to order it in, and it lists that multiple ARE in stock in the Cheltenham store. Like, so many.I don't know if he just hates his job and wanted everyone to leave but like, it was a surreal and off-putting experience.

Brought a faulty watch he confirmed it was faulty but wouldn't give refund the suggested to sell item to him absolutely disgusting service. As soon as I got there was clear he wasn't sorting issue ?

Gave me a good price on the item I was selling. Polite and friendly staff. Money was transferred to my bank within 24 hours of me taking it into the shop. Recommended.

Give u about a third of what they sell it for. And they never have cash so can take up to 5 days to get paid, staff have attitudes, ur better off selling it on gumtree for a cash collection... waste of time.

Visited the store yesterday. Appalling service. I counted 5 members of staff and very few customers, none of which were at the the desk so I was confused why none of them wanted to bother serving me. I Approached the til and addressed a man who was lacking any politeness or professionalism. I wanted to trade in an old phone, he didn?t seem to have a clue what he was doing as I had to tell him what to do regarding selling my phone. I was there at around 4pm on Sunday and it took nearly 20 minutes to do this. I understood that the shop closed at 5pm as it was Sunday so wasn?t expecting my phone to be tested and bought until the next day which is today. It?s now past midday and I?ve heard nothing regarding the phone. Visit the Gloucester store if you want a better experience and better customer service.

Same as most other CEX shops however the queue to get served was very long.
