Smaller Sainsbury this with limited stocks BUT worse of all is the pathically small car park and its equally small car spaces, fine I'd you have a town car but anything bigger park well away from the main door. Also due to location, keep an extra eye on your wallet/handbag.. .

I don't enjoy shopping in this store anymore, because of recent changes. There are hardly any proper tills open anymore, but I always try to use them. I would rather interact with a human cashier, that have to contend with a self service till.Another annoying recent addition, is having to scan your till receipt after you have paid for your shopping. And to top it all, many of the isles have been squeezed closer together, to accomodate the new argos at the back of the store. .I think I'll shop elsewhere in future.

I do not often shop here just popped in for some water filters which were so expensive, then remembered there was Argos in store, found filters much cheaper so very happy then bought some groceries while I was there, much cheaper than where I normally shop, so good day

In the past I enjoyed using this store. Now there are many self check outs and 2 maybe 3 manned checkouts which are usually very busy while more than half of the self checkouts are not being used. So on average now it takes me 10 to 15 mins to go through the checkout with sometimes only a few items in a basket. This is because there are still a lot of people with shopping trolleys full who want to go through a manned check out rather than the self check outs. So I now give up, last time I went I stood there for over 15 mins with three things in my basket waiting to be served. In the end I gave up and just left my basket and walked out. I now shop in stores that have a fair balance between the two and even some stores with a manned basket check out only! Sainsburys Oakley now a joke.

Really surprised by how great this Sainsbury?s is. It?s actually huge, with a large selection of food, clothes and homeware. Really great selection of vegetarian and vegan food. Friendly staff too.

The feel of abandonment, neglect, and low-life permeates in every bit of this place (even though the surrounding area is generally not that bad). You can't grab a trolley without a £1 coin (in 2023, really? I forgot what they coins look like three years ago). A fair share of shelves are routinely out of stock. My family stopped buying fresh fruit there many months ago, as playing the game "guess how many of the strawberries are going to be mouldy today" was everything but funny. There are turnstiles at the exit side of self-checkouts that won't let you out without scanning your receipt, which clearly shows their respect to you. Grim place.

Nice parking and nice store. Theres even a big shelf with medicines so couldn?t complain. As i needed some on sunday cuz my son was sick. This store saved us as the pharmacies were all closed.

The store, it seems, opens at 11am on Sundays. Why then open your doors at 10:30?Is it so an irate employee can holler 'we open at eleven' to me because I wandered into the self-service checkout area, wondering how to pay at 10:33?I thought so.

Sainsbury?s is Sainsbury?s and there is nothing else to add except I see lower stick levels in shelves and fewer people working in store or even visiting the store. It?s very handy for me and has a good selection of fresh vegetables and basics.Bread selection is not to great for me. The staff are wonderful and helpful.I do wonder why they have added the need to scan your receipt before you can leave self-service checkout?

Not only have Sainsburys installed a barrier where you have to scan your receipt to exit the store after doing the job of a cashier whilst a camera films your every move , they have now placed a surveillance van with cameras all over it directly outside the entrance. Ridiculous!

Bit of a strange car park to get into and on the smaller side as car parks go but still plenty of spaces. Fuel station seemed to be pay at the pump only although there was a member of staff on site if you got into any problems. I didn't actually go to the fuel station, only saw it from a passing glance. I could be wrong! The shop itself was reasonably well stocked. Limited items but lots of them... if that makes sense. Lots of self checkouts compared to manned tills and a new system in place for exiting the shop. You must scan your receipt or the barrier will not open. Costa coffee machine by the door and the usual take away sandwiches.Staff all seemed friendly and happy to be there.

Poorly stocked these days and some rather overpriced items too. Monday and Saturday seem particularly bad . The new Lidl opening on the Cirencester Road will hopefully end the stranglehold Sainsburys has on this side of Cheltenham
