Spent over an hour in the shop setting up a sim only contract, not even buying a phone. The network / another store screwed something up. Went in under serious time pressure to get a new sim provisioned to get a working phone back ASAP. Chap in the store amazingly efficient and helpful and tolerant of the pressure I was under. Kudos!
