After a nightmare experience with my upgrade (initiated by CPW), VODAFONE Cirencester, Penzance and Swindon finally unravelled the mess ...thank you chaps 😁

Please, please, please where were these helpful people in the other reviews. My father recently went in and was given no assistance at all. He is 80 plus and just wants a basic package. After being told they had nothing for him he has done his own research and can buy what he wants at any store now.

Awful service... effectively I was mis-sold a mobile WiFi devise on a £25 ppm plan by this store, not knowing much about the devises I decided to go into store, to speak to a so called expert, I explained my situation, asked and was told that a data cap would be added to my plan so that I would get the option to spend more on data should I hit the limit, which the store advised, I never would as this was there top plan. I had used the device for 1 and a half months on nothing more than what I had said I would use it for, and out of the blue I received a call from Vodafone excessive usage team saying I had used an extra 40gb of data and that my bill was £1200... I should add that the plan I had been sold was a 50gb per month plan. Obviously shocked, I said to put a block on my account, and to speak with someone about what had happened to my data cap, the call centre advised that, as it was sold in store they would be the only ones that could sort the situation out, and low and behold, I was met with a rude manager at Cirencester, that denied all knowledge of the sale, would not look at my when he was speaking to me and was more interested with his computer than dealing with me, so between them and the call centre, I am no further forward and have had to involve the ombudsman. Having spoken with O2, Three and EE, they all automatically put data caps on there data and give options to add Bolt-ons if required, giving the customer the option to spend additional money if they want, in the end I went with O2 and use the WiFi device for exactly the same thing and have had no issues at all, but it seems that Vodafone are profiteering out of there additional data, and there stores are not experts that can offer any real advise about there products... save yourself the pain I am currently going through and avoid Vodafone Cirencester, and Vodafone in general as clearly they are not a responsible service provider.

I visited the store on Friday 8th November to collect a new iPhone, having previously been dealt with by a very helpful guy called Craig when placing the order.
The young lady who served me (Christina, I think) could not have been more helpful / patient while I got to grips with the new phone.
She - with the help of her colleague Emily - transferred all of my existing contacts in my old Blackberry into the new phone, then walked through all of the key functions of the iPhone, including using her own iPhone to show me some of the functions when that was more appropriate.
I am the first to be critical when I receive poor service, so think it only right and fair that I should comment when I receive exceptional service. And my experience in Vodafone was exceptional - thank you.
