“We had booked for a couple over the Christmas period. Somehow and don't ask me how we did this but we messed up the dates for the booking. You can imagine the panic on an early Sunday morning when I looked at my calendar on the computer and realised the error.So at about 08.30am on a Sunday morning we phoned up Little Witcombe and Kerry answered our call. She was amazingly efficient and within an hour or so our mistake had been rectified. We are told by the people who have stayed there several times in the past this is an excellent hotel to stay in, friendly, good rooms and service.I can confidently say the customer services are excellent (thanks Kerry) and top marks to them.”

“Just returned from a 1 night stay here, the staff really make this place. Every single member of staff we dealt with was extremely friendly, chatty and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well decorated, with amazing views. We had dinner at the restaurant, the food was the best we’ve had in a long time, highly recommend. The only reasons we wouldn’t give 5 stars for the room were the shower had very little pressure and was more of a dribble than anything, and there was a small patch of mould growing on the ceiling in our room. Would definitely return to this hotel!”

“Room was adequate gor our stay as it was only 1 night. Rooms are pretty basic , but clean and do the job. Bed was comfy and shower was good. There was no actual onsight parking, but a multistorey was next door, the Gloucester quays carpark,which when the ticket was validated our 24 hr stay was half price, so quite good. We added breakfast to our option which was buffet style help yourself to as much as you want, it was pretty good for the price and the hot breakfast the chef kept checking on and filling up. Overall a good experience with friendly staffNearby activities: Adjoining gloucester quays shopping center. Near the cathedral, Dock museum and city center”

“Generally a nice place, but my room was very average (apparently they are all gradually being refitted, obviously got one that hadn't been done yet) food OK, but not amazing for the price. Service generally good, but seemed a bit disorganised on the bookings. A friend in our group got turned away at the last moment (but put up in a very nice place down the road, but it did mean he spent the evening alone)”
