This is the bank I attempted to open an account with a while ago and clearly the service hasn't changed one bit since I was there last . The customer service from one girl hovering in the main entrance area was just disgraceful.She said something along the lines of "there's no point in you doing it in here when you can just do it online"With a sarcastic look on her face I just said forget it, immediately walked down the street to join TSB where the service was brilliant.

Whilst the service was ok once I'd actually got to the teller, the queue was horrendous. Bring back the old days when they had a whole row of staff working, not two working, with 4 swanning about in the reception area with ipads. Just buying a few Euros seemed to be a major undertaking for them, and took ages.What I found particularly troubling was, an old lady in front of me was obviously having financial problems, and the whole queue of people behind her could hear all the details. Surely one if the 4 staff in reception could have taken her into a private room?I've banked with Lloyd's for more than 40 years, so I can't be bothered to change now, but I wouldn't recommend anyone new becoming a customer here.Sadly I've been forced into online banking since they closed the Newent Branch, perhaps that's what they want as the customer service is very poor Gloucester.

Hi, I attended a meeting last week Monday and this week Monday with Madhulika, service was amazing ohhh really really helpful by Madhulika such a fantastic staff Madhulika she helped me with everything. Club lloyds account, savings account, credit score inprovement I rat her 5 star. And i will recommend my family and friends.

I am a front line worker who works during the week and still cannot pay money in because Lloyd's only open and cater for the people who are off work and can pop by 10am to 2pm. How about some way to pay cheques in outside working hours, maybe you could call it credit point envelopes with a posting slot !!.Thanks a bunch when I am helping to keep things going, it makes me wonder why I do it. Perhaps it's because I care about others.

Hi i have recently moved to Gloucester and was already having an account with the Lloyd's bank. However, I was thinking to have a new bank account but couldn't stop myself from getting away from Lloyd's bank as their customer service is excellent and their expert account advisors who take you through various options depending upon your finicial needs and savings. I came across one such advisor madhulika she is brilliant. she had taken all my details and given me all the options of various account options. Can't thank her enough. Keep up the good work.

Very bad service, this bank is characterized by racial discrimination.most staff are racicl. Not friendly and not worth to trust.

Opened an account with a very helpful consultant, who showed me around the branch and explained how everything worked. Even sorted out a problem I had with the machine when it took my cash without giving me a receipt and called me to let me know it had been fixed.
