In relation to the cafe. Went in ordered 2 ultimate breakfasts. What arrived was 2 plates of luke warm scrambled egg (because apparently they couldn?t do fried eggs), bacon that looked like it had just been cut from the pig, under cooked sausages and beans. No mushroom, tomato, hash brown as written on the menu. There was more shell in the egg than you?d find on a beach. Safe to say after 1 bite nothing else was eaten. A 40 minute wait which I don?t mind but there was only a handful of people in the cafe at this time. Wouldn?t feed the food to my dog let alone serve it for human consumption.

Easy parking, not crowded in stores and nearly had everything I needed, just a shame its a 50 mile or so round trip to visit.

This review relates to the café only.Poor.I asked for sweeteners for my latte, but was told there weren't any, and neither had there been any for some days before. You'll see the photo shows that many of the condiment sections are completely empty. They could also do with a good clean out too! Now, there may be a reason, but on the face of it, this just looks sloppy and lazy housekeeping.I'm just glad I'm not a diabetic because there are no suitable alternatives to sugar here.If you read other reviews for this Morrisons, you'll see many similar complaints over past months.Who manages this site and who is the area manager? Because there's no excuse for these issues not being addressed a long time ago. They are very simple, basic requirements!

If you're looking to eat anything hot at this Morrisons Cafe at Gloucester you'd be better looking elsewhere. Exceptionally slow service, waited 50 minutes for 3 meals in the cafe that had 14 people sat in various stages of dining. Floors dirty, empty used plates and cups left on tables, staff working behind the counter area normally seen on checkouts so obviously short staffed. Had to wait for knives as ' they are being washed' then only 3 bought out and put in cutlery tray. No serviettes.

Got some great Pukka pies, £2 for 4. A clean & well stocked supermarket which I shall use more often now.

I went to the cafe for a breakfast and wasn't sure as I had had 2 bad experiences doing the same in the longbridge branch in Birmingham but I needn't have worried the food was lovely and the service was 1st class 10/10

Ordered 2 build your own breakfasts, with drinks at a cost of £16.05 After 35 minutes and complaining that the food was taking a long time. The restaurant assistant said it was because they were busy!!People that came in after us were being served with hot food before us.When the food finally turned up what an utter disgrace the portion sizes were abysmal, Didn't need a large plate, It would have fitted on a saucer.Cost of living crisis, seems like all the retailers have jumped on the band wagon & making the most of it.Value for money, NOQuality, Sawdust would probably tasted betterRe-visit...No Chance. My recommendation Avoid like the Plague. One very disgruntled customer.

We have been to Metz Way Gloucester Morrisons several times on a Saturday afternoon, this week as others there is no one on the cheese, ham counter, waited 20 minutes last week, this week waited 5 minutes then told by the butcher to go to customer services and get someone called over, how ridiculous is that, a counter should be manned all of the time, it is so frustrating not being able to get the weekly shop in one go. I can truthfully say that not only this point but others too, this is the worse Morrisons store that I have ever been in, Tewkesbury is my second choice to go , is pretty good, the very best Morrisons store is Ross on Wye, good bread, veg , shelves always well stocked, polite , always there staff. Was told by Morrisons staff that management is only interested in online sales at the Gloucester store and it shows, shameful.

Cafe here is disgusting. Collected a teapot and it still had an old teabag and water in it. Most cutlery was missing but what was there was still filthy. One drink machine out of order. The one I used gave me black coffee when I pushed the button for white! Place generally dirty all over. Won't be back.Update.....Still waiting for breakfast half an hour later!

Went to the cafe here with my daughter and 2 grandchildren, service terrible, waited ages for food then just 1 meal came out wasnt what we ordered even if it had have been wouldnt have given it to a dog let alone grandson so they took it bk then some time later brought the meal bk out again and when we asked where the other 3 meals were he looked at us and shrugged his shoulders he hadnt a clue by this time the kids were hungry so we complained and told them not to bother and asked for money bk to go elsewhere, also its dirty there had to clean the high chair befor we could use it as had dried food stuck in the strapes and was sticky i think health and hygiene needs to pay them a visit. Staff needs some customer service training.

No staff to help. Cafe has no hot water, no tea or coffee. How hard is it to boil a kettle? Breakfast took a long time to come it arrived with no fried egg as ordered, told they had no fried eggs, really? No milk, no lids, no tea bags in machine at door. Toast as hard as the road. Staff not helpful, the staff that were there either talking or looking uninterested and had enough.

Terrible café - much of the menu was unavailable, hot drinks machines were all 'out of order', staff seemed disorganised and disengaged and food, when chased after half an hour waiting, then arrived looking dried up and unappetising. Many customers leaving food and we observed some complaining to a manager. Quite unlike the excellent café at nearby Abbeydale Morrisons.

It's Morrisons, a good place to do your shopping

Horrific place to shop. Would not advise anyone to shop here.I was shouted at by a member of staff because I picked up a reduced item that was in a crate marked down to go on the reduced shelf. She yelled at me for being "new" to the shop as she hadn't seen me in there before, so I didn't understand how hard her job is and that I should learn to wait and I haven't a clue how stressful doing reductions and working retail can be (I worked for aldi though both lock downs lol ) told me it was my fault and the other customers who were trying to defend me, if I found her yelling at me and my mother in law offensive.I left this store absolutely gobsmacked that this is the type of person they employ.Had to give 1 star because - 5 doesn't exist.A New customer, to never ever going back in again!

I don't usually do shopping in Morissons, however yesterday I stopped for a breakfast and decided to do some shopping whilst I was there!Browsing through the isles I have seen an unbeatable advertised offer on drinks! Buy 6 bottles and get 25% off.As in the near future I will be holding a party I decided to buy 7 bottles of whisky, even though they were a bit pricer than other supermarket with the 25% off on multi buy offer I would have been £2 better off / unit than other store! It turned out not to be true! I didn't get the 25% multi buy offer! When I have asked a member of staff they were trying to convince me that I cannot get 25% off because I have bought expensive drinks!I've also tried to get in contact with the service desk but no one was there for more than 5 minutes and when someone decided to come was exactly the same member of staff that was trying to explain me that I have bought expensive drinks! What a joke!
