Woweeee. Had a horrible experience here tonight. What a rude man behind the kiosk. Was lovely to the men in the line, then the minute i tried to pay, he was condescending. I tried to press the red cancel button on the card machine as i didn?t want to pay more for charity, and he said if i?ve ever seen a card machine before, I would know it?s a touch screen. I was stunned by the sheer rudeness of this man, who obviously had nothing better to do but be rude to a woman. How sad.

We have been to this restaurant a few times over the past 7 years. It has had a few owners. Our recent visit was the latest with new owners. My grandparents are interded in the local church and this is a convenient venue for a family catch up.Very delicious food. Varied menu. Service sound, but I did hear the chef ding the bell when our tables food was ready and it took a few minutes for us to be served to our table. Hopefully they get one or two more staff soon? All the best this year. Cheers

Went today (Christmas eve) for a family member's birthday. The service, atmosphere and food was utterly brilliant! One of the family is ceoliac and they provided gluten free gravy and Yorkshires. We had 8 carveys, 4 puddings and everyone had one or 2 drinks each. Really reasonably priced. Can not wait to return in the new year and try the menu next!

Oh my goodness The Teddington hands! This was a fantastic Christmas lunch, We were early, but it wasn't a problem, staff were very accommodating! The table's were very festive as was the rest of the restaurant! The 3 course's of food were absolutely amazing! Starters were great! The meats were tender, the Yorkshire puddings and roasters were absolutely scrummy, vegetables were prefect, cooked just right! And the cheesecake dessert was the topping on the the cake! It's the best Christmas lunch we've had in the 10yrs we've been doing this! Staff were very friendly, service was efficient and helpful xxx Merry Christmas ?

Came here today for lunch with old work colleagues. Had prebooked the 2 course carvery. Very friendly service, from all the staff we met, efficient and speedy. The carvery was great... 3 meats, lots of veg, and Yorkshires, everything freh and hot. They'd not had delivery of their profiteroles which 2 of us had ordered for pud, but we were offered instead chocolate brownie sundae, which was yummy, with cream and icecream ,and huge!!! It's a lovely place to eat, and very good value, £20 for 2 courses, £25 for 3, no way could we have managed 3 courses!!! Am so pleased this pub is open again and judging by the carpark being very full, and the tables all full, it's doing very well, long may it continue.

A family of 16 and this restaurant absolutely smashed the food and the service, it really was out of this world. Nothing to much hassle for the staff, The food was the best meal I've eaten out for a very long time and the steak was melt in your mouth and perfectly cooked. Thank-you so very much.

Four of us visited with our dog and received a warm welcome from 3 staff. We were immediately impressed with the interior - warm and attractive. Service was excellent - prompt and very friendly. We chose sharing starters which were great - plentiful and tasty, and delivered quickly, our 4 amins followed a reasonable time afterwards, and each was really nice (chilli/steak/burger/veggie roast from carvery). Our dog, a dachshund, is very anxious and barks when approached, but the staff took to him brilliantly, giving him tit-bits to keep him happy. We were too full for dessert! Highly recommended and we will return asap.

Excellent food. Ensure you book for Sunday Carvery. Ensure know only 1.5 hrs slot. Just need to sort out Logistics when busy of getting sittings out and sittings in. 1300 and 1330 very busy. People need to be informed not a lot of waiting room so only arrive for booked slot (we guilty too but with elderly person who could not stand well would have waited in car for appointed time). Also sitting on Table 5 was drafty at times mentioned. Needs a notice or marshalling on door. Minor tweaks but don't let this take away from Quality of the food and Portions.

We have been to this pub many times and been very happy, today was different. I had hunters Chicken, it was dry tough and cold as was the plate and the vegetables. The potatoes were described as new but would have been better mashed. The Brockley was under cooked the carrots tasteless. The room was very cold. What a shame as we liked the place, I recommended a friend who has booked a largish family meal. I shall tell him of my recent experience. Not sure if we will ever go again

We arrived at a nearby caravan campsite on the Sunday about 1.30 pm. and wanted a local carvery which the campsite wardens recommended the Teddington Hands Inn. The restaurant was packed but the waitress managed to find us a table for four of us (ourselves and two friends). The food was excellent but my wife was seriously choking on her meal so I rushed to the bar immediately and asked for a glass of water which my request was dealt with immediately by the bar staff. I spoke to the manageress Dione and asked if I owed anything for the glass or water. She said of course not but then immediately went to my wife to see if she was okay and asked if there was anything she needed at all. Because my wife's meal had gone cold (after the 3 of us had finished), Dione returned with a disposable silver dish which was presented with food from the carvery for her to take back to the caravan and warm up later. Dione was such an extremely caring person that my wife has asked me to thank her for her hospitality, consideration and respect that she had shown on that day. If we are in the area again we would be delighted to revisit for another meal and for their excellent customer service. When we returned home my wife immediately made a visit to the local GP who said that my wife had a lung flare up due to having COPD so the coughing was related to a serious health issue and not choking on the food. Finally, sincere thanks to Dione for her assistance and hope to visit Teddington hands Inn again sometime in 2024.
