I'M LEAVING VERY POSITIVE REVIEWI HAVE VISITED WOOD GREEN BRANCH YESTERDAY TO UPGRADE MY ACCOUNTWITHOUT ANY APPOINTMENT SUCCESFULLY SORTED WITH 2 STAFF LADY CALLED ESR??AND GENTLEMAN CALLED SEFIKKINDLY FRIENDLY AND REALLY HELPFUL SERVICE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TO PEOPLE CAN BECOME MANAGER AS THEY HAVE GREAT EXPERIENCE OF CUSTOMER COMMINICATION!?ESR??*****SEFIK*****

Today (23.10.23) I was seen by the lady behind the til in photo1 (Jennifer ) after understandably waiting in the que for 20 minutes (as the bank was unusually overwhelmed), when I finally reached the counter I explained I needed my online banking restored, she then went on to declare in a loud voice that my account overdraw (fairly responding to my request for a new card) absolutely inconsiderate to the client confidentiality broken and the possible embarrassment possibly caused, my initial request was then dismissed and I?ve was not given any alternative but rudely told ? we?re too busy today, there?s other people waiting? i then proceeded to explain the importance and how i was willing to wait,, Jennifer then responded with disgusted look when her colleague in photo2, although not addressing me or giving me the time of the day exclaimed whilst aggressively raising his arm ?Let him wait, Tell him 1 hour and a half? , feeling defeated, I responded ?why are you not trying to assist me, where else am I meant to go?? I did not get anybody advice or assistance, I explained that if that?s my only option then i would have to wait and proceed to take a seat, in was then left for ?///?, in this time other customers would enter the branch and be seen to relatively quickly , this experience made me feel very belittled, and of zero value to metro bank and personally, during my waiting time the staff would laugh and ridicule me? Even as the caseload grew scarce and the bank grew empty the man who I now know as the branch manager sefiq, decided to parade the floor laughing at me and saying ? I?m the manger nothing is going to happen to me? in a very intimidating Manner, instead of assisting me. After peacefully waiting and given the time to compose this review of my experience I was finally seen 17.11 as as shown in final picture, one of the staff members James kindly offered to see me, and Danny then kindly helped with my request which was dealt with promptly, whilst I left feeling very upset and defeated,

Metro banks are so stylish it's like stepping into an upmarket modernised department store. Everything looks new and easy on the eye. The service is great and they have a magic machine coin counter and it doesn't take a percentage which is magic for a bank. Overall a nice pleasant experience.

Started from the top, now we are here ?. Bottom!When it first launched, Metro Bank treated its customers like gold, customer service was excellent. Now, the queue is unbearable, staff are incredibly passive aggressive, & it takes hours to get one thing done.Too sad to see this bank go down this was in short period of time.

Well most banks are slowly closing down there branches,,and metro bank is open 7 day with enough business hours of the day..Good costumers care,, very carefully tellers,, friendly stuff,, very trusted Bank,, what else can be asked more,, I'm happy that finally hv my personal&business account with em,, Big thanks to metro bank a special Medine&esra?? who helped me open my personal also thanks to James? who opened up my Business account..

Came in a few days ago and was served by a lovely Esra, she was so helpful and professional, quickly and smoothly explained in clear detail, was really impressed with her service, opened an account very quickly, shes really nice xx

The waiting time is way longer than they tell you because usually they just forget. I was waiting for my card for 40 minutes when they said 10. Some lady took me to type my pin in front of another customer and then just left so i didn?t know if I could take the card or not.

This is the worst bank you could think off. I have tried to open an account last week Sunday and they asked me to get my original naturalization. I am originally Iraqi. They have a race discrimination. I got the original document along with my British passport. They manager is very rude. The workers are very rude. I decided to not open an account as they don?t know what they doing. They wasted my time. Therefore I wouldn?t recommend anyone to open an account with them. They don?t even know what a neutralisation is. It?s a scheme we have American bank in the UK.

I came to Metro Bank in Wood Green to open a bank account. I arrived at 14:15 and signed in to see someone, and I was told waiting hours were 1 hour or so, which sounded acceptable to me. However, I am currently typing this complaint at 16:15 and still have not seen anyone or neither given any information. I have gone up to the receptionist team a couple of times. I have been told there are 2 people ahead of me. Many people who came after me have been served. I believe this banking has no fair treatment or poor management system in place !!! This place requires a supervisor who floats around and checks that equal treatment has been given to the people. If you got spare time, indeed pop in Metro bank Wood Green.

Had to chase in person multiple times for them to make any progress opening business account. Then rejected for no clear reason. The local business manager, Christine, was weird and fake. The other (non-managerial?) staff were friendly and helpful however.

The bank was ok, didn't like way that clerk asked me personal questions on where I got my money from like it was nosey and not nessasary for that input. Anyway hope this doesn't affect my time here in London.
