Somalian manager ignorant and has a filthy attitude towards customers, took back a sandwich maker when making all the filling comes out even if it?s not filled up, this person didn?t even inspect the item and said they won?t be refunding it, Argos you need to sort out your staff members and get them trained properly. I was so disappointed I left the sandwich maker behind.

Not great at all.Bought Christmas tree recently and the factory added the wrong stand for the tree now we?ve got to stand it against the wall!!I will deffo be back and I hope they can resolve this

Shocking customer service, rude untrained staff. Absolutely disgusting attitudes. Avoid at all cost. This experience is enough to put me off collecting items from the store. An Area manager needs to step in and take some serious action as I?ve seen other reviews and all seem to have the same issues. Sainsburys/Argos are too big of a company to have this kind of on going issue.If zero stars was a option I would of given that.

Went in today around 16:30, because I had previously bought an item here online that turns out it was faulty, contacted Argos online and they told me to bring the item back to the branch under hazard collection , in order to be inspected and we would get a refund, exchange or a replacement. Cool we went in , and we were being helped by a girl at first who then transferred us over to one of her colleagues. I don?t know who this guy was if he was the manager or acting like he was, at first he asked us what was wrong with the item, and we explained that we had a bought a heater and that heater was making weird noise like something inside was faulty and it was also smelling a lot like burnt. He then proceeded to turn the heater on in one of the extensions they had at the back of the shop, cool so far it?s fine he?s following procedures I guess, so we wait and wait and then we get told by him ?oh I?m just waiting for it? cool we wait more and more by now we can?t see the guy anymore we have no idea where he is , our guess is that he was inside chit chatting with his other colleagues or something. At this point I?m loosing my patience and trust me I get it I also work in customer service I know how it is however, this guy then proceeded to leave us alone with no one to help us and we see him leaving from the side without his uniform on, we also see that he?s chatting to other customers implying that he was sorting these customers problems out and he completely disregarded ours, at this point I try to get another employees attention and ask ?sorry could you please tell me who?s dealing with our problem since your colleague over there seems to be leaving? this girl then shouts across to the guy and asks him ?sorry what?s going on with these customers what?s the issue??.The worker displayed a shocking level of unprofessionalism throughout the interaction. When reminded of our issue, he responded with a dismissive "ahhh yeah," as if he had completely forgotten about us. He then callously laughed in my face, claiming that the item was not faulty and even if it hadn't been 30 days, he wouldn't provide a refund. I challenged his assessment, pointing out that he had only briefly turned on the item and disregarded it thereafter. This led to a heated argument, which was embarrassing given the presence of other customers.Feeling dismissed and disrespected, I requested to speak with someone else. Eventually, a woman, who I assumed was the actual manager, came to our aid. She was kind and promptly issued a refund. She also assisted us with collecting another item without hesitation.The behavior of the male employee was appalling. He completely neglected our concerns without even having the decency to inform us that he was leaving or transferring our issue to a colleague. Instead, he nonchalantly removed his uniform and went about his day. As long-time customers, we were appalled by such rude and unprofessional behavior, which was unprecedented in our previous experiences with the store.

Awful, rude untrained staff. One young boy in particular laughs at customers rather than helping them. Argos does not honour valid accidental insurance claims from the policies they are selling, so I will be contacting Trading Standards about this. I will not be visiting this store again.

I will never come back to Argos Penge again, been made to feel like I was lying because of my faulty headphones that were not even two weeks old. I was made to wait for a manager for a while for a refund, then Pauline came along, and that's when it started. She was making out like she was the manager of the place. She started to test my headphones out, which I understand if that's the procedure. Then pretending like she knows what she was talking about, after saying that they work, which they didn't, she then tested with her colleage on the shop phone and she even said that she can't hear anything. Pauline then proceeds to get the manual out of the box to embarrass me even further. This all took about 30/40mins by the way. In the end, Pauline said that because it's a high value item, she can't refund this because the manager is not in!!!!! I was like what?? I thought you were the manager, she then said no, they are not in until 1pm and to come back. What a waste of my time! She was being really inconvenient and basically judgmental and out right rude looking at me up and down. I was made to feel like a criminal. Ridiculous. What happened to their exchange and refund policy!!!! Never going to purchase a high value item from that branch again! In the end, I went to a different branch and the customer service was honestly night and day, this lady in another branch, different store was amazing and she wasn't even a manager. Done the refund for me no questions asked because she saw it was not long that i had bought them. She never had to read the manual. Just goes to show that the penge branch, especially Pauline, was talking rubbish! Lost another customer! Never again! WISH I READ THE COMMENTS BEFOREHAND.

Disgusting and third world service on offer here. Humiliated and Embarrassed for simply Returning a phone in immaculate condition after just 4 days of use as it was not fit for purpose, very slow and Internet connectivity was intermitent at best. Phone has been used in a case that covered the entire device. Took it back to this ARGOS Branch and on approach the rude incompetent staff namely (Alina) said it's used.Then I started to record the conversation knowing how stupid that sounds. Of course it's been used. You have to actually use it to know what was wrong with it. Manager 'Theo' then came to her aid. 'It has fingerprints on it" (which were his own) from checking it'. So... "its not in resalable condition". Interesting. But he says he will refund it only this time. Idiots.

I brought a computer and it kept crashing I brought it to this argos and they said I need to restart the computer I restarted it and took it back the next day I showed the manager Elliot my receipt and he said it?s not in the system which is a lie because I never saw him look up the receipt on the device and kept going round the back then saying it?s not in the system I went to Brixton argos and got the refund straight away argos penge very lazy and unhelpful

Perhaps, there are more than one manager since there are some complaints about the manger here or perhaps, the one I spoke yesterday is a new branch manager. Darren, the manager was patient and helpul. I was slightly offended by one member of staff when I first raised an issue with the item I collected from the store. However, I was able to speak with Darren who was friendly and took time to resolve my issue.

Disgusting treatment, registered blind and the female staff at the till told me I can't bring the guide dog in, she called the manager, and she was so rude and told me to get out. Never going there again
