Always a huge queue. Could walk to Sydenham or Anerley in the time you wait. While you queue you are surrounded by mess, dusty surfaces, dirty floors and tat.I have already paid for my postage and wish they had one of those self services check outs rather than a shelf that is half empty and filled with intense sticks, weird off-brand colognes and snow globes.They had a refurbishment and I have no clue what they actually changed as it's still dirty and a mess.My final gripe with this place is that after the refurbishment a new sign was put outside - the logo is not the correct logo for the post office. Sort of squashed. I really think the Post Office should look into this place having their brand incorrectly displayed. It's a poor representation of the Post Office. That poor attention to detail that continues into the shop and I am sad they don't care about it as I really want to support the Post Office and Royal Mail.

A sad shop - most of the shelves are empty and the whole place is falling apart. The stock that they do have you probably wouldn?t want to buy - aging tacky picture frames etc. Actually posting a return was fine though.

I sent an important letter with special delivery for 9am next day. It arrived at 11.30am. Apparently PO only guarantees delivery by 11am. However, they still call it special delivery for 9am and the gentlemen at the Penge Post office who would have obviously know that chose not to tell me this either. I also could not track the letter nor can I get a refund because the receipt he gave me did not have a tracking number. I paid £20.24 for this excellent service. What should I call this if not either a scam or complete incompetence.

1 star is too much. Filthy store, every item seems to have been there for a million years. Rude lady at the counter, slow service- it?s always 2 of them max. Awful service.
