Unfortunately, we spent £15k on a bathroom with these guys and have had a nightmare ever since. The design consultation was a joke. Guy showed up 30 mins late; it was in their own store. They changed the installer without even telling us and we heard it from the installer. They still haven't contacted us what the new dates are. They confirmed the delivery date of the furniture and then delivered it a day early with zero notice, so we couldn't even take the delivery. They've promised a £500 refund for weeks and never delivered that.This has been such a nightmare that we are close to having to pursue legal action against these people because the ineptitude is just different level, so make sure you avoid this place like the plague!!!

THE MOST MISERABLE PEOPLE WORK IN THIS WICKES.I have been to a lot of Wickes branches but the Anerley branch is on another level. Just come out after getting some wire netting. I've been to funerals and come out in a better mood.The so called security guard walks around like he's lost and doesn't want to be there. Staff miserable, sad looking, and the guy on the till just blanks you - no hello or bye just asked how you paying and end of conversation. Not to mention the long queue that built up but nobody jumped on another till. Avoid Avoid & Avoid for your sanity ?

Wickes 14 Anerley Station Rd, London SE20 8PYSometimes you just have to go to a store and pick what you need - I want to pick my own best fence panels, not just the front three! I'm normally an 'online' sort of guy - so normally do click and collect.However, Wow! on this visit a very helpful sales assistant - Kay - helped me locate other items I needed. She saw me struggling with low-down large sand bags and gently pointed out the ones she was about to stock up on. And amazingly in a reverse-chivalry gesture promptly loaded them onto my trolley! Not only that but she located cement ("in plastic bags"?) .....and before I could say Jack Robinson it was on my trolley. Kay can hump bags around as though they are feathers - so don't mess with Kay! And she knows her stuff.When asked for cement sealant she ascertained the correct product - which unluckily was out of stock. But that wasn't her fault.I have used Wickes and many others like ScrewStationBQFix and have never encountered such service. She has the knowledge only before experienced at JLPartnership before they changed their business model.On trying to locate the sealant, she enrolled Josh - who was also very helpful (on queueing to pay he opened another till and speeded everyone's transaction).Listen up Wickes! If you don't give Kay a promotion and pay rise - at least make her employee of the year! She's been with you some time, I found out, so don't take her for granted. However reward her, but keep her customer facing.And Josh too. Helpful assistants like this are rare animals!Well done Kay and thank you - and to Josh too. I'll be back!

I had a terrible experience with the Sydenham branch who i approached to do my bathroom. The Sydenham adviser cancelled 1st appointment due to sickness then told me i had to have a full bathroom overall as he cant price up just for bath, sink etc. He said it will cost between £7and £10k without me choosing anything and failed to provide a report despite me chasing. I asked for Wimbledon the next time so hopefully i will get a better service. Run from his branch the advisor is inexperienced and a waste of time.

Our experience with the design consultation service was very disappointing. The initial home visit was brief and we did not have confidence in the agent's knowledge of the products or services on offer. We were told to expect the designs the following day which we have never received. On attending the in-store appointment, we waited for 30 minutes to meet with the agent, who seemed to have double booked, before leaving. We are unclear on the pricing model but were told that any installation begins at £2.5k which seems limiting for smaller home design projects.

Poor shop, when ever you come there you cant find anything staff is careless, and also they delivery trucks always block train station entrance make there like truck stop, all poor organised avoid.

Most of staff are friendly and helpful. Lady on checkout today was way too quick to dismiss me with"if it's not on display we don't have it". Luckily I asked another member of staff to check if product was in stock and it was.
