“thank you to the kind staff for patiently answering my queries and giving me a discount on some boots. i came in last week and asked about the brand and why the price was quite high. the volunteer took time to do research for me (he was a middle aged man with an accent, sorry i do not know where from ?). then another volunteer (a young man with an american accent) gave me the discount when we discovered where the shoes were from. thank you so much for it! i’m in love with my new boots!!!”

“Great selection of books, some lovely greeting cards, etc. On the expensive side for charity shop books (with many books around the £3 mark), but the money goes to a great cause and the choice of books is much better than general charity shops”

The staff and volunteers are always welcoming and friendly and ready to go the extra mile to help you out.You might have to wait a minute or two if the shop is full because of the covid restrictions but fair enough it's worth the wait. Always new things on the shelf so a definite highlight of the weekend to go and have a gander.”
