If there was an option for zero stars, that?s what I would rate this place. The staff are uneducated about their own policies. While at the branch I was informed by seemingly confident people that if I replaced my card my apple pay would be blocked. Shortly after I contacted the customer service and discovered this was not true. Please hire better staff.

Worst experience. If I could I?d give 0 stars. Never had to visit the branch until now and I?m definitely gonna change to a different bank. Requested a credit card and the link to upload the documents wasn?t working so I was advised to go to the branch to give the statements until 1st of June that was the deadline otherwise they?d close my account. I?ve been there 9th of may and was attended by SHAMANTA who told me she upload my documents and I had to wait 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I?ve decided to call the Barclaycard number to check and they didn?t receive anything and told me to go to the branch again, so I?ve been there on the 24th of may and was attended by SANDRA this time and again they said they uploaded my statements. On the 1st of June I got the email saying that my Barclaycard was closed because they didn?t receive the necessary documents. So I?ve been to the branch again today and spoke to the Manager ASAD AYAZ and he said there?s nothing that they can do even though it was their fault and that now I have to wait 6 months to re-apply. I really needed this specific card because I?m travelling abroad but now I won?t have it. It?s very frustrating, I?ve spent my time in there. I thought they were working on sorting my issue but in reality that doesn?t happen. Not to mention that I can?t apply for any other credit card right now because of this situation every check is denying it. We feel impotent and helpless.

Customer service is poor! Advised to complete an application online albeit to the website telling me that I need to visit a branch. Advice given was incorrect which has wasted my time. Avoid where possible!

I went to Barclays in January to change my surname after I got married. Despite handing over my marriage certificate, the staff typed in the wrong name which I eventually noticed on the app. I went back to correct this and waited for 45mins before I was seen. There was no apology from the person who made the error. Fast forward to receiving my new debit card today.... I received a new card in an envelope addressed to me with my new surname but the new debit itself has the old surname on it! I now have a new debit card that's fraudulent because it's not the name on my account. Incompetent staff at Barclays.. You can't make it up!!!!

Today was in this brunch. Specially came to change my address. I couldn't change address online or in mobile banking because new flat is new build and postcode couldn't be found. I took all documents with me. Rough woman was at help desk ( don't remember her name.something like Ramina). I explained her my problem and ask is it possible to do in this brunch. She told me that it is already 2 people in queue and it will takes long time. I told her that I can wait because I specially came for it. But suddenly she told me that in brunch it is not possible to do and I need to call to costumer service and do it through call service. I asked what problem ,why it is not possible to do in brunch? She was nervous and rude and just told me that if I don't like something I can change a bank. Very disappointed. Even person on phone,when I called them to change my address was surprised why it wasn't possible in the brunch.Very poor costumer service.
