I dont even know where to start. I call yesterday to book appointment with the doctor because my knee is swollen and just can?t walk . I was told that there is not free appointments for today but if I want they can book me on for another gp practice in abbey Medical centre in Barking for tomorrow, I say yes obviously just want to get help. I go today , and when I was 5 min away someone call me from Abbey and ask how come Im booked woth them because Im not there patient and they just can?t help me and I have to go back to my gp practice . So I go and was told basically that they sory but they just can?t help me , to go home and call again tomorrow at 8 am ? all that to remember I can?t walk !!! Disgusting too treat patients this way , this is disrespectful and just horrible. Who is working there to dont know basics about booking appointments??? How is that when u need to see doctor is a rulet for u , calling every single day at 8 am and can?t get in ? This system is just broken and someone need to fix that !!!

5 stars is not for the GP practice itself,but for the outstanding service I receive from Charlotte the receptionist everytime I have called the GP. She's the only receptionist I perfer to take my calls,due to her professionalism,friendly and helpful manner.I have found one of the older receptionists at Thames View/ King Edwards GP,to be extremely rude and standoffish.Charlotte is a breathe of fresh air and I'm sure many other patients would agree with me.Keep up the good work Charlotte.

I?m writing a review after having previously giving 1 star.I moved here in 2019 and was never able to see a dr even whilst pregnant. It was near impossible to see anyone.However, since the beginning of 2022 I have noticed a difference and would say there are definitely changes that have positively impacted me.I have been able to get a same day appointment atleast on 5 occasions, have been given good care by the nurses and drs and have been able to secure appointments 3 weeks in advance. The receptionists are much nicer now and the pharmacy onsite is brilliant.Of course the calling at 8am thing feels a bit like a lottery but it seems to be working okay for me, maybe it?s my luck but I do wish there was a better way of doing that because it?s not accessible for everyone and highly stressful.I hope this practice does not regress and aims to improve.

Worst Gp ever.. whenever we called to book appointment in next available slot..they told to call at 8am for urgent appt or 10am for non urgent .when we called we will be in 41 in the queue everytime.. and the answer will be no slots available..go to barking community walkin clinic... worst experience and moved to another Gp

What a nonsense. I stayed on the line for almost 20 min, to hear I couldn?t pre book appointment even if take me wait over a month, what I was suggested is to call them at 10am next day for appointment which I will have after 3weels or over. Since when bookings are become scheduled by the time even if it?s not emergency appointment?! Does any other Gp practice running same system? Long time should change the GP, even if take me travel extra mile, I assume will be worth it!

Absolutely horrendous! Appointments for my children were 4:15pm and 4:30pm, we got there at 4pm. It wasn?t that busy and most dentists and hygienists were standing around doing nothing and I had to leave as they were closing at 4:45pm.

Few days ago, i gone gp for my pregnancy because i had ulcers and blood come out on my mouth i didn't eat anything but they didn't listen me .. they didn't take any medicine

the receptionist are all miserable rude & unprofessional workers who make up their own rules and think its ok to hang up on patients while they are talking Leanne and gill hanged up the phone on me while i was talking to them about printing out a medical history for me they did not want to hear what i am saying kept on talking over me without hearing me out as they kept on telling me to print it myself from the app which does not have the full medical history anyway tells me to come to the gp and do it! i will file a complaint about them as this is not how you treat a person at all i suffer from depression and anxiety and other disabilities this gp really need to consider training all the receptionist?s with proper customer service before they go working with patience in front of house!

I?m so upset with what has become of this dentistry. I?ve been a committed patient of this dentistry since I was a little girl. It used to be great but now they are only after your money. They became private with no warning to loyal customers and charge ridiculous fees. This is in an area where most people may not be able to afford such services and are now left in a terrible situations. I have filed a complaint on the phone but there isn?t even an email to write to. This is very unprofessional and this is not how you treat loyal patients. This dentist has fallen off, it used to be great but now it?s terrible. I?m so disappointed.

The doctors themselves are lovely and caring, never had an issue but i missed the 8am dead line to get an appointment by 2 minutes had to call multiple times as a automatic message saying I'd be disconnected and was disconnected due to the phone lines being full. After multiple call backs I am now 50 when I was able to sit in the line at 8.16am. Worst desision ever to merge the clinics. More doctors practices should be made in the area.

Receptionist, you can tell from their attitude they just want you to toss off. 8am in the morning haha took me four days to finally have them answer after it being disconnected everyday till you?re on your death bed. If you don?t like being a receptionist don?t be one. Been with them since 2006 since it?s become Arura Medcare it?s become 10 times worse than it already was. If only the service matched the appearance of the surgery.

I really wish I had seen the google reviews before going in. I had a clean on Monday the 9th of October, a hole was drilled in my bottom teeth and I had blood cloths in my gums. It is now Friday night and I am still in pain. I called the dentist in tears asking for an email to file a complaint and wanted to know what their complaint procedure was the receptionist attempted to justify the hole in my tooth. Now I have to spend extra to get my teeth fixed. The bonding I had on my top tooth was also filed down and chipped by the dentist, this has been a really challenging week for me and it is unfair that she can do something like this and potentially get away with it because the practice will not provide me with the proper information to file a complaint against her.

This place is horrible. We had to wait 90 mins and this is not the first time this has happened. Receptionists are so rude. Doctors are nice but really slow. They have no respect for their patients. I hardly ever get through and when I do they have run out of appointments. I feel like my anxiety started from here.
