The design consultants at this store are absolutely disgraceful. After confirming multiple times via text and also phone call about the scheduled appointment, the designer simply failed to show up. My appointment was 5:30PM. He called just after that to say he was running a bit late which was fine. I asked how late. He said 45 minutes and I agreed to wait. I told him I would go out at 7PM but that still leaves plenty of time to do the survey. One hour later at 6:30PM, the staff still didn't show up. I called him. He didn't have the decency to even answer the phone. Needless to say, he didn't even show up that day. Totally disgusting unprofessional service from Wickes.

Sold a tin of paint which was obviously a returned opened item. Spilled in the back of my car boot and caused an eye watering amount of damage. Only offered a replacement and some wipes.. gee thanks. I'll be making a claim for the incompetence shortly.Of course the reply entails no accountability whatsoever but I expect that from this retailer still making a claim regardless.

Popped in to browse and I was very underwhelmed. The store feels quite empty, staff were not engaged and the security man was hovering around the exits and tills as if he suspected everyone from stealing. Not an enjoyable shopping experience.

An absolute disgrace! Was served by some lazy looking bad mannered women or a man only God knows! No eye contact because too busy on their phone looking at insta or Facebook! No please or thank you! This individual clearly was not liking what they do! There are plenty of people that would happily like doing this job outside of this particular place, give them a try. Unbelievable attitude and what's more amazing we take the piss out of foreign workers and then you have people born and bred in this country still acting so primitive. It wasn't like this peoson was even busy! Just a smile would have gone a long way!!

Was greated by the horrible AGNES (worker) who has no smile no hi hello and disgusting customer service with the IDGAF attitude.Maybe the worse wickes in the whole of uk.Altough the wood cutting service has been closed for a year there is no signs put saying its out of service, found no workers to give me a hand loading MDF on the trolley, then got to the counter to pay only to find out they dont the cutting service anymore.Not that WICKES MANAGEMENT Care or will do anything about it but just letting people know who might wanna pop in to that branch just be aware of the horrendus service you will get from a few of the staff members.

First and last time having anything to do with Wickes in Barking !!Very unprofessional, nothing is done correctly!The women who picks up the phone is such a big liar telling me the person I wanted to speak to is off and will be back tomorrow after 10 am while the guy is sitting in the office next to her and she hadthe bloody cheek by raising her voice to me when I told her that she should be ashamed by lying to Customers who spent big money and to received rubbish customer service!Never again with Wickes and there incompetence staff!!!!!!But spend a bit more but shop elsewhere!I did a kitchen with Wren kitchen not a single issue and everything is as done professionally!

Had a bathroom design and install appointment with Saf Patel from the Barking store. Firstly he was not on time. Secondly he kept arguing with me over parking and wanted to rebook after 5:30 PM when the appointment was at 9:30 am. I gave him options for street parking which take about 10 mins (you just have to go around the other way and it would bring you in front of the building where parking was available I could see from my flat). He kept calling every couple of mins and saying he couldn't find it and that he just ended in the same place (so I knew he wasn't even trying to follow the directions as it takes at least 10 mins) He would not share his location on WhatsApp. After 4 phone calls I finally told him to cancel the appointment altogether. He kept saying he was at the building address but I doubt he was even here. This was my very first experience with wickes that I was looking forward to as had heard good reviews. If the consultation itself is so difficult then imagine how the install would go. Think I dodged a bullet. Will take my 100k budget elsewhere. And Wickes has lost a customer for life.

I bought kitchen. From Goodmay. I need some more bit as i was passing by Barking store. I ordered them. I was meant to get the good the next day. Two weeks later I started calling the sale person. Who i could never get though to so left massages for call back. Never called back.So i called customer service. The lady sorted it out. when I received the order. One piece was missing. So called customer services again. It was a different lady when told me that item has been deleted. Then after checking she said that supplier has stopped suppling. So why was i not informed.I am still wait for the part.

One of the worst wickes.. Don't go here if you want to find what you looking for or if you buy anything big such as ply. There is no trollies.. Not sure how they expect people to shop when there's no trollies?! Joke..

Dear all,I'm trade account holder. I bought tiles £466.00 from wicks Barking store. After my work one of my box of tiles was left and 4 trunking which I bought just last week wanted to refund. Just 2 days expired Tiles (Was intact and looking brand new).I turned to customer service assistant name Tony ( Indian background). With his angry face he told me that he will not refund it because of date. I just politely asked him why you're raising your voice? I'm your trade customer. With his continue shouting he told me that "you're customer not my God". I was really shocked.Sales Assistant Tony doesn't even know what's the differences between God and Human. It's really rude. I request to speak to duty Manager about his behaviour and refund. Trunking which I bought last week doesn't want to refund as well even not serve me. Also shown a small piece of paper and mentioned that paper his Manager and he left till. It was a long que. After waiting long time colleague name Khalil came and solved my problem. Khalil was so polite and help minded oriented.Because of Khalil behaviour I could give 5 stars but Mr Tony's behaviour hearted me so much. I strongly believe that Mr Tony 's need customer service training again.
