“While it is not my favourite grocery shop in the area, there are few things I really value about Budgens. You can find some delicacies that are not available in other stores (Italian and Spanish mostly), they store a lot of Biona Canned organic food and they have a great choice of wine and beers.”

“We popped in here to top up on some freezer bits, the store was full of what we needed & store staff even opened a second till when they saw that the queue for the only till that was open had exceeded 3 people.”

“Great shop, I love the selection. There weren't many sandwiches available, but it was lunchtime, so it was expected. Love the handy location of the shop. It's a great place to grab some sweets before the train journey.”

“Came here to pick up some bits for breakfast. I got there super early so the store was fully packed and well stocked. It s big store with loads of items. They revently reordered the shelves so things are in random places now.Store missed out a star because I asked a staff member for chewing gum, they said its along there, and poi ted to where I was. I couldn't find it, that's why I asked. Then he said or look in the corner at the back if the store. Would have been nice to have shown me, or at least ask if I wanted to be shownThe parking is free for 2 hours if you spend £10 in the store.Self check out, human check out and self scan all available”

“As always, fantastic! Waitrose is the best supermarkets in London, everywhere, we can walk in knowing we will find delicious food. Also great selection of wine, cosmetics, flowers. Also, extra 5 stars for always having staff at check out, so we are not forced into those inhuman check out machines. Pretty much stopped buying anywhere where they don't have humans at check outs anymore. Only together supporting places with real check outs, real people, we can preserve good old fashioned human experiences, and help to support jobs.”

“I went there to get bottles of water & snacks & organic bananas ( they were rotten ! Got molds right away ! ) & their vegan raspberry jello !! My fave !! Their mini shortbread is my fave,too !!”

“Friendly cornershop which can be a real lifesaver ran by very nice people. Stocks all the basics and more including non alcoholic beer, a wide selection of cereal bars and some magazines. ”

“Ishmail and the other workers at Costcutter are so friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to assist you always with a smile and greeting for myself and my toddler, plus they a great range of products. Definitely recommend! :-)”

“Bakery has amazing fresh breads, the croissant was amazing, crisp and buttery soft, staff is polite and helpful, and they also have a great selection for people staying in local accommodation, I usually go early mornings to buy breakfast food and everything is perfectly tidy and fully stocked”

“I've been using this petrol/ mini market for a few weeks and felt I have to write this review, let me say the staff there are wonderful but I have to especially say the young lady who's name is Grace is an asset to the company, she is polite and witty and certainly brightens my day. I must also point out another fantastic member of staff called Thayalan who truly is a nice man.”

“Very handy Sainsbury's local on Essex Road, next door to a Tesco local (or whatever their small ones are called). I got some gorgeous cut flowers from here at a very reasonable price for their quality, so I am very happy indeed. Also has all the usual sections to get the basics. There is a bigger Sainsbury's up the road in Angel.”

“I went there was because my firend told me she'd spotted a celebriy working there. I think it used to be a bakery about 20 years ago so i guess it wasnt to much of a suprise to see Phil hollywood stocking the dairy counter - he was really concentrating on making sure the yoghurts were in date- thats whats I like about him - he's a prefectionist”

“My experience with the staff in this Tesco has been pretty positive. They have been friendly, helpful and cheerful. I use it often as I work close by. I do agree the back of tills are often full of parcel, however, I use this service to drop off and pick up parcels, so I'm grateful they offer this service. Overall, I have always received a decent service. Thank you Pentonville Tesco staff ??”

“I saw those comments, But Im being honest I never experienced those kind of issues. Its my local store and I am regular customer in there. I start my shopping at 7 when they open and I go there 2/3 times every day. The store is clean , the staffs are very friendly and helpful. They always helped me when everyone I need something. Recently the shop has some stock issues and when I asked them, one of the staff told me that its because of driver shortage and stock availability and I believe its happening every where. So far I am happy with this store and I recommend this store to my family and friends.”
