Never again. Wanted a ?quality? salon as my hairdresser of several years has closed. I arrived on time and was told they were running 10 minutes late. It turned into 20. The special hydration treatment which is mentioned on the phone recording is just a mask which could be done at home for £1 instead of £25. No Vaseline used to protect the hairline from colour. Although ?complimentary blow dry? was explained as a rough dry, it?s bad wording in an email as it sounds like a proper blow dry. No comeback from customer services when I complained. And yet I had 2 emails and a phone call to remind me of my appointment. All they?re interested in is your money not customer satisfaction.

The first time and second time I went, i went it was lovely. My hairdresser helped me achieve what I wanted and was very friendly towards me. The third time I went, I asked for a cut and a fringe and told my hairdresser it would?ve been my first time with a fringe. She recommended that I could just get the cut today and see how I feel and if I really still wanted to get a fringe then I should come back another day and they?ll do it for free. I agreed to this and even double checked with her that that the fringe would be free. When I went to go pay for my cut, they told me I had to pay the long-hair price even though my hair was shoulder length, and even the receptionist thought I should?ve paid the medium hair price but in the end i was forced to I pay the long hair price and left. I came back the same week and told them that my hairdresser from a few days ago told me that I could get a fringe for free, but now I was being told that free fringes are only for customers who have had 10+ appointments with them and so I would have to pay the full price. The price wasn?t the issue but the communication within this salon is horrible, everyone seems to have their own rules and doesn?t inform the customer or their colleagues about it. Overall, there?s skilled hairstylists here but horrible communication that could make you paying more than what you intended

Being made to wait 45 minutes after my appointment because of "scheduling issues" was not good. Still had to pay full price (£85) for a 30 minute haircut. Really sucked!!

The customer service was good. The receptionist and hair stylist were friendly. But they offered me a drink and forgot to bring it, I had to ask again for it. Also, I didn?t get what I wanted for my cut. I asked for layers and to keep some length in the back and I didn?t get either.

First experience for my 11 yr old daughter at T&G and she lovedthe experience and most importantly thrilled with her cut so kudos to the stylist!Only negative, the salon interior looks dated but didn?t detract from the experience ?

I have been using the Islington branch for many years and had various stylists and colourists. I visited last week and was dissatisfied with the end result and felt like I had not received good customer care. I called the client care team and left a message, however no one has called me back.After leaving my appointment, I met a friend who asked me if I had been to the hairdressers as my hair did not look like I had just stepped out of a salon.I feel that Toni and Guy has lost it?s approach to professionalism and good customer care and I feel the decline has been gradual for the last year.The fact that no one has returned my call from the designated client care team speaks volumes!!Update 7/11/2023 Following on from my last review, I have been welcomed back into another Toni and Guy salon that has restored my faith!I was met with excellent customer service, a great wash with head massage and a excellent cut and blow dry. I left with that feeling that I had just stepped out of a salon!! Thank you to the customer care team and to the amazing Tori at Covent Garden?s salon?
