Sushi here was so yummy, really hit the spot! Hot food (i only had the pumpkin katsu) was extra hot and crunchy. Love it.The staff were friendly too. I felt a bit bad for the chef who got screamed at by a nasty customer- though it seemed he was upset he was still really kind and friendly to all customers and his staff. Kudos to him.The only reason for the 4/5 is I do think this place that it is quite overpriced. You can go to other sushi spots for less and easily eat more. Portions are also quite small compared to other restaurants.If they had certain deals or specific days/times where the sushi is a bit cheaper, I think that would be more reasonable. Thankfully I am a student so I get a bit of discount but I can imagine it?s quite dire paying full price (it already was with student discount). Unfortunately if this place didnt give 20% off for students I definitely would not be able to afford it.

We came into Yo! In St Pancras Station after travelling for hours on the train we were very keen to have our hands on some sushi. My partner hadn't been before but I had up when there used to ne a Yo! In Glasgow.We waited a while before a lady wearing a hijab came over she looked disinterested in serving us and we were merely pointing the way where our table was and I had to ask for a menu eventually. The tables weren't clean (we were at table 7) but I was too hungry to care.We started with having a bowl of edamame beans to share and this was perfectly seasoned and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to have another bowl. This went down a treat and I did like that there was a rotating belt so we could help ourselves to anything we wished.We had two Masai hand rolls which were cucumber, inari and avocado with mayo & toasted sesame seeds in a nori rice cone. This was delicious and we enjoyed it was perfect to try a little bit of everything.The star of the meal was the chicken teriyaki bowl which was with sticky soy glaze, topped with sesame and a fresh chilli kick. Dished up with steamed rice, pak choi & radish. This was delicious and my partner and I shared this and thought it was really tasty.However when it came to asking for the bill we had to wait a while before finally getting someone's attention and then the bill came to £72.29 including a service charge of £5.04. All the staff did was look incredibly overworked and I wasn't sure why this was not reflected in the menu prices. It was a bit more, actually double than I thought it was going to be. Thankfully my bank had cashback to this place so I got a little bit of money back.If this place was cheaper I could see myself visiting here more regularly but at that prove with the service we had, I don't think I would.

Food flavour was a bit off, as though the sushi had been sliced on the same chopping board that had had also had scallions cut on it, and not cleaned in between.Stupidly expensive at nearly £100 for 3 of us really only snacking.

Wow how the mighty have fallen? What a disaster! I used to love Yo Sushi, it was such a treat and such great food. This is one of the worst experiences I've had. Staff couldn't have been less interested ignoring us and incredibly slow. Food was disgusting, dry tastless and unpleasant. I'm really sorry to say it but I won't be visiting Yo Suhsi again and I certainly will never come anywhere near this branch again. What a mess.

Great food but given it's a station and people need to get going the service was a bit slow especially for mid week lunchtime.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options availableKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, kids learner chopsticks available as well as spoons and forks.

Aurora at front of house made my experience a very happy and memorable one. Her service, attention to detail and kindness made the food taste even better and definitely helped with the digestion - excellent kitchen staff and quality

I usually going to this restaurant often because the food and service was amazing, but the last couple of times the food was horrible, more than half of the menu orders was missing, the guy in the kitchen with a long hair he didn?t wear, hear net and the most awful was he took the dirty knife from the sink and he start to cut our rolls with that dirty knife. When we brought this to their attention, they just ignored in a very rude way they didn?t even butter to apologise, the worst experience that I had and i stopped visiting your location since then. Also the dishes on the belt all looked off.Someone should look into this because is a shame for such a nice place to get so low service and food quality.

Worst dining experience I?ve ever had. Took me to a seat and neglected to tell me that they weren?t serving sushi unless it was already on the belt - the ingredients were literally on the tables in front of me but they had decided they would only do takeaway and not serve seated customers as they were understaffed? yet I literally saw them making what I asked for for a takeaway. Shockingly awful. Walked out, they didn?t care.

I was served by Poppy this morning at yo sushi in St Pancras station and she was so friendly and helpful. She served me quickly and made sure I had everything I needed. Brightened up my morning. Would definitely go back! Have a good day Poppy!!

YO ! At St Pancras has one of the friendliest staff I've come across. I'm vegetarian and wanted advice on what my options were. The staff at St Pancras were very knowledgeable with menu. Sushi were actually fairly good, but what I witnessed today was a bit shocking. The woman who worked 29th June 18:45/19:00 obviously got tired from her customer-faced role (30-35 y.o., short, chubby, hair coloured in yellow, was in a pink/black blouse with flowers) - as we found out later -the manager of Yo! Kings Cross (!), while bringing food to the display run on purpose into the girl who was next to the display with opened take away, as the manager was aiming to squire by between the column and the girl, although the spot was really small. There was a plenty of space around, but the manager decided to push the girl and pass by. When the girl asked ?Are you serious??, the manager replied ?I am serious? :) I understand that this must be a busy spot at Kings Cross, but why would you treat customers like this?! (and people in general). Also I would be questioning the manager?s approach at work if she acts like this facing customers - what then she expects from her team and what she trains them for? Please, head office, kindly look into this and send a mystery buyer to this location.Regards, G.S.
