Frustratingly this branch is very often late to open in the mornings to a waiting group of customers wondering where the staff are. On a recent visit found that the branch is now closed altogether (temporarily).

Must be one of the most useless banks I have dealt with. They have 2 instant deposit machines, both of them don't work, they take your cash and withhold your card and display an ERROR! and you are left waiting while the bank manager opens the machine to get your cash and card out. If you haven't counted your cash beforehand and not sure how much the machine has swallowed, then you at the mercy of the bank assistant to tell you how much was swallowed. They insist you give them a figure as well of more or less how much was swallowed. I was completely unsure one time exactly how much was swallowed, she asked me more or less how much i deposited, I gave her a figure and that's all she gave me back!. I am sure I have been left out of pocket as a result of this.Depositing at the counter is also an issue, they either have login in issues and make you wait or you will be left waiting in a queue as they rarely have both counters in operation at the same time. I have been made late for work on several occasions now as a result of this. Secondly this bank is supposed to open at 9am sharp, they don't seem to concerned leaving you waiting outside until 9:05am. What is this all about???.

They waist your time a lot, would not recommend Lloyds at all. Their business app is a failure

Icky stuff. The woman stated unreal that need To book in advance to withdraw over £2k. The cashier picked up from his nose, twisting his lips and bombarding me with unnecessary questions such as if a scammer is waiting for me behind the corner ?. A manager is like disturbing all the conversation provoking to create an excuse not to pay my money! It was necessary to go to another branch where they paid out without booking in advance, without vexing questions.

Lloyd's bank staff at St. John's Road, Battersea are simply excellent. Not only are they polite and courteous, but they know their jobs. They have a professional presentation and execution of their roles. They are top drawer.

Opening up my first current account as I am now an adult, I chose Lloyds. I booked an appointment and it lasted around an hour. I was met with exceptional service right from the start- upon entering, a kind lady was there to greet me and let them know I had arrived. My appointment was with a gentleman named Mr Shrestha (apologies if this is spelt wrong). All throughout he made everything clear to me when opening the account, and was quick and thorough to answer any of my questions. The appointment didn't feel rushed at all, and it's a weird thing to say, but I felt independent and really pleased walking out of the bank after everything was done. He printed out copies of the information for me to take home, and when we were done he introduced me to his manager who was also lovely. They were both genuinely interested in what I had to say, and listened- something which I have found not to be the case in some places. I was not made to feel intimidated or belittled even though I did ask some silly questions, which I think is also really important.This bank is so much more appealing compared to some of the others along St John's road. Even though looks can be decieving, the atmosphere is very welcoming and refreshing, and to me it shows they care about how they present themselves.
