For a Tescos it?s fairly limited with its items, mostly due to store size. Never had much of an issue with staff but from the looking at the previous reviews some changes need to happen.

This Tesco is probably the worst shop in Battersea

Having had time to digest over the last year, I will say this. This store is home to some very warped and toxic males. One was abusive to my friend who is black and he constantly made fun of her weight, it was clearly a color issue. She was also harassed by a person who couldn't keep their hands to themselves. Speaking to the manager is like talking to dirt. The man is a few sandwiches short of a picnic. A slow poke some might say who clearly sees nothing wrong with abuse as other users will testify. Avoid this store like the rona

I'd give it a zero if I had a option! The staff are great, management is piss poor. Nathan laughed at my disability so it's discrimination! The security guard assaulted me. I was refused service, I just wanted goats milk. Sainsbury's is my new shop now.I'm suing you guys I am an ex employee since 2016. I worked in Curzon Street and then price of Wales drive. I helped put together the shop in Vauxhall! I'm connected. So I'm using twitch , Facebook and Instagram to boycott this store.Merci beaucoup and have a good day.Btw if you support mental health disorders stop shopping here.

So I have been a customer since I was a kid.I used to do shopping here after school and go here on college breaks to read magazines or buy snacks. The male and female staff were friendly and it was a very nice atmosphere. However things then changed when a new security guard joined Tesco and would relentlessly follow me around the shop, ask me my name, and ask me if I had a boyfriend or wanted one, or asking me to come see him, despite this man being twice my age. He did this every single day and would lean on me physically at the self service till making me extremely uncomfortable and I soon stopped going for years just so I didn't have that experience. Then I returned, the shop was different and had new staff and now the shop was full of young men. Young men who for whatever reason liked to play emotional games with female customers to satisfy their boredom or self esteem and would be verbally or emotionally abusive if they didn't get the attention they wanted from you in the shop. They would laugh at women for fun, humiliate them infront of customers and staff and it was all a laugh to them, so I left for a number of years once more.Returning now, some new staff but the same pattern. That same security guard, only slightly less creepy, but still ogling women and following them about. Some nice workers in here who just do their job and are respectful to everyone, and some who once again enjoy playing games with female customers to pass their time.To cut a long story short, people have feelings. Women have feelings. Creepy or chauvinistic behaviour can really damage someone's day especially when all they're doing is shopping. The fact that I have to write this because people are too dense to realise this, is quite disturbing.I can imagine some former male workers or some current ones scoffing at this review or saying something misogynistic, but this is all true. Please be kinder to others. We're all going through it, right now, we don't need to add further pain to innocent people.

This is a nice little tesco to pop into after visiting the inlaws. Alex is always nice on the till and a tall young guy called Ryan that my friend has a crush on lol, is friendly too. Dont know about the other workers. The security ruin the shop. These guards are weird and follow me around like I'm a theif which is disgusting. Kept looking at my chest and legs which is nasty. My son even asked "why is he following you mummy?" which is shocking. I have two minds to ask my partner and cousin in law to come in with us. I bet they won't follow then.

disgusting service because I'm a black rastaman who has been going in this store for the last 10 years a young security thought the need to follow me in the shop then after putting me off buying anything I left the store to which he chose to still follow me outside disgusting behaviour for a part time staff who don't normally work there

For me, it was a standard Tesco express. Able to be in & out fairly quickly, finding what I needed, us the odd 'special' craftily laid out to tempt you.Check out nice & quick using self service tills. Attendants nearby if required.Just what you need for a larger style convenience store/mini-mart type place.

What can I say? There is a creepy, black, security guard about four foot something, that has been "guarding" Tesco for years, yet he spends all his time perving on young girls! My niece came home very upset, because he would not stop following her around the shop, leering at her the whole time...And I still remember that years back a worker was allowed to get away with kicking a fresh (unwrapped) bread roll that had fallen off the bakery shelf, then he picked it up and put it back on the shelf for someone to eat! He obviously thought I wasn't paying attention! I was so shocked!! I took it out and put it back on the floor once he left the aisle. What's going on with the manager?..If the store has one, smh. No one to complain to then, no one to complain to now!! You won't see me in this shop again. People please, do not send your young girl child in that shop. And look at the bread rolls before you buy them.
