I really don't know what to say about this hotel. Reception staff were pleasant, but that's where it ends.Room was dated to say the least, the decor was shabby, furniture ripped and marked. It was very clear the room had not had a deep clean in a very long time - the bath was disgustingly dirty to which point my wife felt she would be cleaner without taking a shower, the carpet was not only marked but dirty on the surface. The smell... that is something else, it hits you as you walk through the door. This level of cleanliness continued throughout the halls and communal areas - outside of our door the wall has been half painted and skirting boards aren't attached, to our left was 'wet floor' signs and lots of 'rags' along the carpet. The location was also just as bad, not somewhere I would walk around once dark - lets just say there are some 'characters' hanging around outside. We were woken throughout the night and early morning from constant banging and shouting outside our room, we had to complain numerous times to reception. Although this is not something the hotel can control, it wouldn't have felt half as bad if the inside wasn't as disappointing. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights, but one night was more than enough, we ended up driving home throughout the night to avoid staying here any longer. How this place is still open is beyond me, avoid at all costs!

I was warned this place was rough but I had no idea how rough. 2 different floors had leaks coming through the ceiling with electric lights on and we had to wade through water to get to our room. The room was filthy and tatty. I had no idea hotels were allowed to be this bad. Plastic sheets on bed. There?s nowhere close to eat. And I could even have the tv on as the screen was cracked. Seriously the worst place I?ve stayed in ever.

Travelodge London Battersea offers a comfortable and budget-friendly stay in the vibrant city of London. Situated in the heart of Battersea, it?s a convenient base for exploring all that this dynamic city has to offer. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable place to rest after a day of sightseeing. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. One of the standout features of this hotel is its proximity to public transportation. With nearby bus stops and the Clapham Junction train station, you can easily access various parts of the city, including popular attractions like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and the West End.The Battersea area itself has its own charm, with restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel also offers an on-site bar and restaurant, making dining convenient for guests. While this Travelodge offers great value for money, it?s important to note that it may not have the frills of a luxury hotel. However, for travelers looking for a well-located, budget-friendly option, Travelodge London Battersea is a solid choice.

Its proper basic and a bit shabby. Travelodge arent plush at best of times but this is on the low end of scale. The bed was ok and shower warm. Quiter than I expected given road its on but no air con so gets warm.Cheap and a good location. Check in was easy enough. Has a carpark that costs 9 quid a day which is decent for London

Perfectly situated for our trip, check in and out was easy and swift. The room was perfect for our group of 3 with the use of a fan, iron and board we had everything we needed. The cherry on top would have been a small fridge in the room, however there was a co-op just round the corner for a few room refreshments and the personal products forgotten!

I've stayed here twice now.The first time the room was proper dead end, light fixtures falling off the wall, uncomfortable beds and loud neighbouring rooms. But the Second time i stayed, 2 years later, had an excellent experience which a lovely spacious room, decent beds and lots of space, the toilet was typical hotel... not great but what you need.Shared the room with 2 mates was great fun and cheaaapI would stay here again.

The place was quite tired looking and looked like it could do with some updating certainly from an aesthetic perspective. That said, our room was cleaned well and the lady on reception very friendly. The pillows too hard for my liking but that's a preference not a reflection on the hotel.Rooms: Functional but moreover in my experience very clean. That's important to me

Locations is nice, staff super helpful and with good attitude all the time, rooms a little small but comfortable. A lot of places near by for breakfast and lunch. River side just a couple of steps by.

This TL is old and rundown, it didn't help the room was boiling, no handles in the high bath when stepping in an accident waiting to happen but the worse part of this TL, I felt unsafe at this location, at 1.59am someone knocked on my door, I had to put my chair against the door, there were noises on the corridor until almost 3am, I dare not leave my room as I was on the 3rd floor. In the morning when I went to check after zero sleep no one in reception, my Uber arrived so had to leave so I couldn't speak to anyone. Upon check the lady wasn't very welcoming just abrupt here is your key (which isn't your standard key) she told me give it an extra push in the slot for it to work. The whole place is rundown and old, smelled of damp, TL should consider closing this TL or upgrading especially the security as a single female traveller and stayed in many Travelodge this was by far the worse one

the room was not set up. the shower gel container in bathroom was totally empty. room was extremely hot and boiling. there was no AC in the room. the fan was not effective at all as the temperature outside was too hot and blowing hot air into my face. I believe this Battersea hotel is not even reaching the minimum criteria to be booked for the travellers

Not a good to stay at. The rooms are very uncleaned especially the bathrooms. The hotel is unmaintained and just not looked after very well. The only thing I liked was there was plenty of vending machines in the hotel.

Below standard property in need of a refurbishment. The staff were friendly and doing their best. A good location but check out other options first. Could fo with bath mats, glasses etc. The absolute bare minimum was provided but this was not reflected in the price charged.

Very tired hotel. Only reason it was 2/5 is because it was clean. Reception very unwelcoming and tired looking. Odd shaped rooms, fogey interior in hotel and rooms. Very good location but should be much cheaper for what you?re getting

We generally do like a Travelodge, Windsor for example is fantastic. Battersea, on the other hand is not. Where do I begin? Grubby, batter(sea)ed, not well maintained, smelly, no customer service, lack of basic furniture in the rooms, ruined sofas in reception? We were luck to draw room 009 on the ground floor with a beautiful view of an overflowing Wheelie bin. The hallway to the room, directly from Reception absolutely stank of marijuana, which is obviously acceptable for the hotel to let rooms out to families with children. The bathroom was again filthy with no hand wash or shower gels in the dispensers, you could also see what the last room tenants had eaten for dinner in the toilet. There was no chair in the room so my wife had to do her makeup hovering. The bed was good! Well done! In the morning we headed for breakfast as pre booked and was told it was a box breakfast delivered to your room, again the Travelodge out did itself by telling us the boxes wouldn?t be delivered to the hotel before 12pm so out for breakfast we went! If you want a shocker of a hotel, Travelodge Battersea is for you.
