No wonder they only score 2.7 - appalling customer service from both Wickes and XDP (their delivery people). No one answers the phone and the XDP app doesn't work. Stuck at home all day waiting for non-arrival.

Shocking customer service. Initially all fine, Nadir came to my house and came up with some great ideas for maximising storage in our kitchen. A week later I went to the store to see the mock upAnd discuss in further detail. After an hour and a half, Nadir was nearing the end of the kitchen quote and had another appointment whilst I had to return to work. He told me he would email me all the details later. That was 10 days ago and even though I have called three times and spoken to the receptionist (who has instilled no confidence whatsoever) he hasn?t bothered to return my call or email the quote. I thought sales people worked on commission?? A total waste of 4 hours if my time, I am going with Howdens. Avoid

My wife & I were extremely impressed with the price and service from Wickes Battersea. Nadir & his team were fantasic and we are very pleased with the kitchen design and quality. Would use again. 5/5.

Please remove the 1st photo. I thought this was a typical warehouse type store with products to see but it's just a small shop with barely anything inside. Wasted journey.

Don?t waste your time here!I specialize in refurbishment projects and deal with multiple kitchen and bathroom brands and I can state, with absolute clarity, that Wickes is the worst when it comes to customer service. I thought I?d try them again and visited this branch recently to realize why I always avoid them. I walked around the showroom twice and passed 3 staff members each loop with only one asking if I needed help. They all seemed too distracted to even bother, and one of them was having a very loud conversation on the phone about some pitiful personal problems - not professional at all.My advice to anyone needing kitchen and bathroom refurbishment/products - look elsewhere as their competitors provide much better service, and I?d say better quality products and design ideas too.On this occasion I took my project (full kitchen and bathroom refurbishment to 3 flats) to a competitor and had an excellent experience. Quite a loss to Wickes!

Awful customer service. In line with other reviews, the staff at the Battersea branch literally ignore you as soon as the order is placed and they have made their sale.I ordered a bathroom and after the installation had started, it was clear that Nadir had forgotten to order a vital part that was needed in order for the shower to be operational. As a result I was left without a shower for more than 2 weeks!I tried ringing the store to speak to him over 20 times, and every time the call was answered by the useless receptionist who can seemingly not pass a message on or amend any orders. I am not really sure what she is offering the customers, or what her job actually is. Anyway, after Nadir being "unavailable", "on holiday", "on a training course" and every other excuse under the sun, I had to order the part myself in order for the bathroom to be completed. Even now I have had no contact from the store.After complaining to Customer Services given it was clearly a Wickes error, all I was offered was a measly £30 in compensation. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible experience and disgusting customer service, be careful if you chose to have your kitchen designed by Wickes. At Wickes Battersea location they showed a great effort to close the deal but when order confirmed it was delivered with missing items, Wickes Battersea said they can?t advise on this matter.I called customer service to report two items missing, not only one as the delivery man reported ( Gold handles and integrated Bin ) which they were available when I placed the order and paid as sales assistant Tahir Younes confirmed.Unfortunately over a month waiting now and still didn?t receive the handles. And each time I call customer service they can?t advise on anything as the order 7687385 is not under my name but under my partner. I am the one who paid, I am the one that went for the appointment and never been advised by the sales assistant to change the name of the design.Please be aware that I have received 5 times false text messages to my personal phone number confirming delivery dates and 5 times a day before delivery confirmation but all were a lie, misleading information, false promises. This experience has caused me a bad time at work as I requested 5 times days off to be available for the false delivery, ruined my kitchen refurbishment experience.End of all here is what goes wrong:1- sales man Tahir Younes didn?t think in advance to change the name of the design from my partner to mine, which could allowed customer service team to advise on the delivery. Not waiting until my partner to be finish work or a day off ti call and waste hours of our time changing our order.2- items were available online and beautiful dream were sold.3- kitchen reported delivered with 1 item missing only but I had ti check during the week to find out myself that also the Integrated bin also missing.4- customer service has not intention to help, and were refusing to speak to me as the design/order wasn?t under my name but under my partner, ( they could have advised that my partner can add my name maybe )5- promising and confirming deliver dates and times 5 times.I must say the product is good but the experience not worth of the money at all.

We had a disastrous experience with an incompetent seller named Tahir Younes. Initially he was mistaken about the meeting location, thinking it was at my flat instead at the shop. Upon arriving at the shop, he displayed arrogance, he was already nervous, unhappy as we arrived at the kitchen design meeting with some doubts about what to do (!). He used authoritarian language as "I will not design the kitchen for you today, this will not happen". He basically abruptly ended the meeting early, claiming he had another appointment. We took hours off at work for the meeting. Game over with Wickes Battersea from our side.

Sent me a base kitchen cupboard without a top and 2 doors which didn?t match. My fault we couldn?t assemble them for a year-granted-no refund possible and they no longer do the range. What a waste of money. not to be trusted.

Abysmal experience. Customer service is non existent, incorrect and unnecessary items were ordered and legitimate returns were disputed constantly, culminating in them all but accusing through fraud. The optimistic assumption would be incompetence; the cynical that they're conmen only after the sale.

Really unhelpful. Came with drawings 3 other kitchen providers have drawn from. He refused to help and was rude. Go somewhere else!

The store was closed without explanation on a Wednesday, despite clearly stating they were open online, and there was no answer to any of the phone numbers stated on their website. Absolute waste of my time.

Terrible customer service - ignored by the sales staff for 40 minutes, so we chose the kitchen units, cupboards, counters by ourselves and simply wanted it priced up so we could place an order. When we tried to ask if it would be possible to speak to someone, one member of staff refused and said they'd only speak to us with an appointment. The other said he would make time for us, but only if we agreed there and then to pay upfront that day. When we explained we were keen to place an order but needed a price breakdown first, he walked off in the middle of speaking to us.

After having a shocking experience with a Wickes kitchen install in brighton I was apprehensive about giving this branch/company another try. I have to say the design process was a very pleasant experience. Nadir was very professional and informative. The fitter which Wickes provided was absolutely amazing?.which I was very surprised about. Normally I have found these fitters require constant supervision however Emad was faultless and worked so hard.I do however have to agree with some of the previous comments. I have found it incredibly difficult to contact the design team once the install was underway. Supply issues left me trying to source my own oven and then trying to organise a refund for the oven purchased via Wickes and unused kitchen units has proven very difficult. It appears that once your assigned design consultant is on annual leave nobody can help you. Such a shame as otherwise this would have been a 5/5 review
