Big store with variety of products and lovely staff

I think what they do it's to check other food stores prices and try to sell their stuff for the double of the price. They could make a profit if they buy food straight from the next door store and sell it to you.

Your friendly neighbourhood grocery store British style: and super international! There's a Kosher aisle and a special section come Passover. Also, free Coffee for Waitrose members is back! ??Buy the best reusable cup here

Awful store now :((Visited this store a few weeks ago after about 4 years. Did used to go in regularly but harder now as I've moved. I was shocked at the change. Run down in comparison to the bright store it used to be with friendly staff. Now they don't even look at you!! I picked up a glass drinks bottle that was in a wire basket on clearance, put it in my basket and walked towards the hand wash section. Placed the basket on floor to bend down towards soaps and as I did, the glass bottle popped with a loud banging sound and literally, drink and shards of glass went everywhere with the remnant of the bottle in my basket and my items all soaked through. Went to find a member of staff, one was standing at the end of this aisle and I gathered that he was calling for help over what had just happened. I tried to speak to him, make eye contact, and explain what happened. He basically ignored me as though I was a ghost! He walked towards my basket and was faffing around there, not a word to me or a look in my direction and all the while, I'm still talking to him. My clothes got wet, my boots got splashed and as I took another basket and took my items out in to the new basket, he still ignored me. His behaviour towards me caused me to feel pretty bad about myself, I just went to the till, paid for what I had and left the store. Nobody asked me if I was okay... a glass bottle blew up in my basket, I got wet and glass went everywhere and not a single member of staff asked what happened and if I was okay. Disgusting behaviour and so shameful of Waitrose. Awful experience that I don't want to put myself through ever again, won't come here again and will find alternatives to the few items I do buy at Waitrose. Shame on you Waitrose.

Had an absolute nightmare. First time in here and couldn't find what I wanted. Had unbelievable trouble using the self scan payment machine. Kept freezing and had to wait for assistance. Then had trouble using my debit card. Don't think I will ever shop here again. For a first visit, can't see why I would consider going back...! Use the shops you normally go to, damn site easier. Shame cos I love the food...!!!

Product: on this visit, this is the display from which customers are expected to find the ice cream they want and know what price it is.Service: Staff in this store are SO rude, inattentive and socially backward. Just basic human social skills are completely absent and there seems to be an acute lack of awareness, let alone respect whatsoever for customers. It?s as if they hired staff that nowhere else would! No eye contact, no verbal communication. They relate to people the way farmers relate to sheep or cattle and I?m sick and tired of it. I truly dread going to this store.

I hope that nobody experiences this store. Poor customer service, lack of respect for peoples time and poor quality of food. The manager Nish likes to pass the blame onto customers, Chloe is one of the most rudest members of staff I have ever experienced and the team are generally lost with no idea where anything is or even how to collect an order. I ordered a lot of party food for an event and nobody seemed to know what this was or where it could be located. Please avoid this store at all costs!

The Edgware Rd store has fallen so far?empty shelves, slightly dirty, staff unhelpful. For example: almost empty meat counter closed 1.5 hours before the store closed, apparently so that the staff could get ready for closing. Isn?t it meant to be open for customers when the store is open?? Terrible service.

Meal deal includes yogurts good value, compared to M&S who does not have deals on all their overpriced sandwiches and their meal deal is 50p more.

Most of the shelves were empty at 1030 am when I arrived. Those that had stock were very untidy and clearly had not been looked after.

Unfortunately Waitrose in Edgware Road is getting worse and worse. The shelves are so untidy that if I want to find something I have to dig among the groceries that are ?thrown? there. Lots of fruits and vegetables are often missing from the shelves. Now even paying is becoming difficult as there are only two cashiers and the rest are machines (which for checking few items are ok but for a big shopping are dreadful). I will have to avoid going to this Waitrose and opt for another one.

Consider adding a notice indicating that customers are requested to exit through the door near the cashier. This way, everyone can leave without feeling like they're being treated like potential thieves by rude security personnel for using a different exit!

I don't know why people come here to overpay in a filthy environment. Badly managed, poor customer service and rotten fish.

The security in this store is a bit much. As I left he grabbed me by the arm saying receipt please. He said I looked suspicious as I spent so long looking at each item. I have allergies so I have to check. Awful shopping experience.

Today, I had an ordered delivery of groceries from Waitrose Marylebone, and I must say, the staff member who packed my bag deserves all the praise. They truly brightened my day! The order arrived in excellent condition, with careful packing and double paper bagging to ensure nothing was damaged, despite its weight. Even the damp items were thoughtfully placed in thin plastic bags. What touched me the most was finding a heartwarming message written on the paper bag: "Thank you for shopping at Waitrose Marylebone (smiley face)." It's these little acts of kindness that make a huge difference!I am incredibly satisfied with the service I received, and I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff member at Waitrose Marylebone responsible for my order. Thank you so much! (smiley face & hug)
