Went in with my wife today to return two pairs of shoes.We interacted with a black bald mid 40s member of staff with an African accented English accent spoke to my wife and mother in law who's Japanese in an abrasive and rude way all the way through the experience.First, on accepting the return he proclaims he couldn't accept an email confirmation of the order but needed the return slip with the barcode on it. It was inside the return parcel courier bag. Took no initiative to look for it.Second, he asked for the reasons for the return.'why are you returning the shoes...' he says in a direct tone of voice. My wife translated on behalf of my mother in laws to say 'it didn't fit'. He asks, what's her shoe size?While my wife was translating the question, he didn't have the patience to wait and actively listen. He gives them no chance to answer his question and accuses them in saying you don't even know your shoe size 'Who speaks to customers like this?A racist? A brute? What's wrong with you?I looked at another member of staff while listening to him handle the return and sniggered. She saw the whole thing and didn't intervene, as if this is normal behaviour?The whole affair was distasteful and uncalled for. This man has very poor customer service handling skills and far too abrasive to be client facing. Clearly had a chip on his shoulder.He sounded so irritated the whole time we were interacting with him.Horrible. Experience.

A massive thank you to Sitora at the Jermyn Street branch!! Super helpful, she went over and beyond tonight to help me find the store in Victoria when I realised the store on Jermyn street is just for men. Thanks to her I managed to get to Jones in Victoria on time , bought the most beautiful pair of mocassins and I?m ready for my exhibition tomorrow- OUTSTANDING customer service-I?ll bring my husband to your store next time :)

Went in for a specific pair of boots which unfortunately they didnt have in stock in my size. The assistant I spoke with said she would check availability close by and said their branch in Holborn had them. Even rang them to make sure that was the case and asked them to put them to one side for me. Brilliant service! Went above and beyond.
