Wow! How bad can this be, had a parcel to pick up, paid the charge on line for the postage difference of £1.50, with payment proof on my phone. Guy on counter brings up details, says his system shows no payment for postage difference has been made by me, not the first time a post office system not working? So he won't give me the parcel, conversation goes on for some time, with huge line of people behind me, I then have to ask to talk to a manager, manager comes down, I finally get the parcel! Only took around 30 minutes, what a joke! All over £1.50 which I had paid! Guy then says on counter I have been mocking him and the service, really? What the hell?

Mark, in the Putney Collection Office, went above and beyond to help me get an issue fixed. He really went out of his way and it resulted in me getting exactly what I was struggling to get. Amazing guy. Incredibly helpful. 5 star service for sure!

a complete joke open 8-10 am. Nothing wrong about staff here just the post office and its continued lack of customer care.

ROYAL MAIL TRIED TO DELIVER MY ITEM ON THE 29TH NOVEMBER. NO ONE ANSWERED SO THEY SAID THEY WOULD TRY AGAIN ON THE 30TH NOVEMBER BUT THEN SENT ME A MESSAGE SAYING THEY WERE UNABLE TO. THEY THEN PROCEEDED TO SEND ME AN EMAIL SAYING THEY TRIED TO DELIVER - WHICH WAS A LIE BECAUSE THEY DIDN?T - AND SAID IT WOULD BE £1.45 TO THEN DELIVER THE ITEM. I AM ABSOLUTELY APPALLED AS THEY HAVE MADE THE MISTAKE OF SAYING THAT THEY TRIED TO REDELIVER WHEN THEY DIDN?T AND THEN ATTEMPTED TO TRY SCAM ME FOR £1.45 REDELIVERY. HOW DARE YOU DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY HOW ABOUT THAT.

The staff have always been great. But why only open two hours per day? And so early! Not all of us are able to make it that early to pick up a parcel, if you work office hours what are you supposed to do? The posties don't play "knock down ginger" as much as Amazon but how about leaving with a neighbour? I think if the parcel office was open in the evening 2 or 3 times a week you'd see a lot fewer parcels getting sent back to the sender and the public would be happier. Did any of the decision makers think this would go down well?

It's a shame how royal mail Putney it's working with deliveries.After some months paying for nex day delivery not only i don't receive it at home but also they lie in the notifications saying they tried to deliver but nobody was at home.It's a shameful service and the 2h office opening it's a joke.I wonder why they do strikes sometimes working so BAD.

Cannot believe the new opening hours! 2 hours a day. Opt for collection when possible as parcel delivery is a bit hit and miss but surely a public service should be better than this.

Stupid opening times, only open 2 hours a day and haven't had any letters for over a month. Tracked parcels also not getting delivered.

Shambolic services. Every time, "Sign for" items, like a mobile phone worth a couple of hundreds, left outside on the door mat. On the RM tracking website, item marked as -"delivery attempt" (no red card left at all) and then -"collected from the customer service point", but in fact the parcel is still siting in their branch. You have to chase them, to get your item, if you are lucky enough to have a tracking number provided by the sender. You will be extremely lucky, with your item not being stolen, because their "brilliant" delivery person, left it outside.

They dont ring the bell, they seem to knock at the door by tapping and hang about for 5 seconds before leaving. Was waiting for a delivery, 2 people home, we have a door bell but it wasn?t used, we then get a slip through the door saying no one was home. Now I have to go to collect. Poor service.

Where are the proper opening times gone ???? , Covid is not an excuse anymore?. There use to be a late evening opening !! Now only one day till 6 which is not even late the rest till 4,/5/ midday and hardly at all on Saturday /weekends. just impossible not realistic in the hrs open?.

Always helpful staff that really do the best they can. I?ve been using by them for 5 years now and their hours can be a little hit and miss but I?ve never had any problems with their delivery and pick up service!

Delivery driver today FAKED my signature on an expensive RM "Special Delivery" package, threw it over the gate / heard a Loud BANG, fragile package SMASHING on the concrete (insured for £700, so they knew it was fragile and valuable). And then drove off before I could even get to my door (10 seconds) Unacceptable ! Shameful experience from Putney DO and Royal Mail. Still havent heard any explanation from RM.
