Visited store on Sunday 16 July 2023.\\n\\nPathetic customer service. Refused to process a simple refund by contactless as I've paid for the item using Google Pay wallet on my phone. They were also shown the original receipt and I was well within the 30 day refund period.\\n\\nThey expected me not to be upset despite me walking for a total of four miles to the store and home again.\\n\\nBizarrely, they wanted to be respected for providing poor customer service. They are seriously deluded. Their duty manager, who pretended he was the store manager, had poor communication skills. The girls on the customer service desk appeared to be on their work experience from a local school. The result of cutting pay from experienced staff has taken its toll.\\n\\nYou can keep the £8. Desperation to profit from poor service. I won't shop in any ASDA ever again, you bunch of criminals.\\n\\nEdited to reply to the response from owner: It seems odd that you can process Google Pay to buy your goods yet unable to refund payments via Google Pay. Other retailers don't have this issue, why is ASDA any different?

Individual staff members, all the cashiers are really good; but why does the management decide to get rid off human served tills and only go with self-service? Not great idea

It's not the first time that I came to this supermarket and get targeted over my appearance/skin collor People that work in supermarkets should not have racial bias. It's their place of work where people go to buy food. Today a black woman with short curly hair decided to make my feel bad and refused to treat me with respect. She was on the tills with plastic bags in her hand as she passed me she had bags on both hands I asked for one and said please. She said no pulled her hand back pointed to the entrance of the tills and hanged them there. I don't know her. I never did anything against her in anyway but she decided to target me. I'm white as they come and what else could be the reason? This is not the kind of people that should be working in costumer service.

By far the worst store in South London. Extremely poor customer service. The worst is the "customer service" desk. By the way this operates as and when they feel. Rude lazy staff. Usually using foul language around the till section with no regard to the fact there are families and young children around.

RUDE STAFF at checkout and the supervisor called AshleyShort blonde lady .She was shouting at a customer in front of everyone .No body helped this customer , all staff were looking at Ashley shouting at her .Unprofessional way of dealing with a refund !!

Asda are short of staff. Shopping is fine.However, the CLICK and COLLECT is always been poor. I blame it on the lack of staff/job cuts. You can wait ages for your parcel. The customer service is non existent at time. If you have to do both, you may have to wait for ages!If you been there hit the like button so Asda management can see and fix this!!!24/5 in response to Asda. I am not going to blame any individuals, giving a specific order number is not great. If you want to know what happens, why not send out your mysterious shopper or something. I still use the service as sometimes it is more long winded to deliver esp there is a delivery charge, but I have been using the store for a long time. In most cases it is not great but at times it is okay. When I collect, I always wonder how long it will take. Waiting 10-15 is a long time!!! I am speaking on behalf of the other shoppers as the other customers are also frustrated. The rating was given as I want you to improve and I am an actual a customer that still the use the store regardless, but I just hope the service improves| Thanks.

As much as I enjoy shopping from Asda, online deliveries really aren?t it. I gave it a try, and only 4 out of the 18 items I ordered were delivered??After reading many reviews and seeing others sharing the same frustration, I?m surprised they haven?t done anything about the situation.

The young girl on the click and collect desk this evening (20:00-21:30) was extremely rude. She should not be dealing with the public as she has absolutely no manners. She is in serious need of customer service training.

Friday I entered the store approximately around 14.00 pm ish. I paid for all my items, I didn?t get a receipt but I had a notification on my phone of paid goods.As I was exiting the Asda store the alarm went off, I explained to the security I have paid for everything. I even have the notification on my phone, you can refer back to CCTV Footage of the incident yesterday. I swung my hand bag across the security barriers, the alarm did sound. I believe it was some items I purchased from Tesco. Must?ve had a sensitive sticky tag on it. The security guard insisted it?s my duty to make him aware everytime I enter this Asda store I should let them know I have similar items in my hand bag. He mentioned he could search my hand bag and take all my items in my bag which appear to look like Asda items.He said if there?s no proof then he has the right to take them from me.At this point is where the incident took a turn, I felt harassed and violated. I told the security this is not true. I don?t need to make you aware of any items in my hand bag before entering the store. He just wanted to make an example out of me and embarrass me infront of customers. I felt soo bad, because I just bought a bunch of feminine products from Tesco I was worried he would try to empty my bag in from of customers and infront of the other male security. Thankfully the Somali security stayed out of it. I was very grateful for this.No customer deserves to be treated in this manner, even after the notification has been shown of purchase. Security guard was exploiting his power yesterday. I have attached a copy of my receipt which he wasn?t accepting. If you go back to the CCTV footage you can see he was still hanging onto my Asda bag like he was in disbelief I paid for my goods.
