Every single bad review for this branch is absolutely true. It starts from the manager, a lazy young man in his early 30s, sitting in a desk, looking oblivious, ready to gladly refuse service, so he, or his lazy stuff don?t need to earn their salary.They did the same to me as I see many reviews here, i.e., they refused service, even though I was there 1 1/2 hour before closing. They said they were busy with other clients, but all three of the employees there were sitting on the desk alone chatting with each other and doing nothing.This branch needs to be shut, because of its bad reputation, and open a new one, perhaps in Woolwich, with brand-new stuff, ready to help.As for the staff at the Bexleyheath branch, they all need to be fired, starting from the useless manager who didn?t even want to hand out his business card. What a shame.

Absolutely dire; went in to change my name and ended up with a new and unwanted card as they'd accidentally issued a new card believing they was on the next customers account! Irony of them not even being able to fix the original issue I went in with or having any clue how.Overall I'd have been BETTER off not going in branch.I'm in the process of switching away and sad I HAVE to go back as a credit card can't be closed online or over the phone. I'll visit a different branch as after this I don't really want to return here.

Worst Bank I have ever been with as my account has never worked properly since day one, i have been with Metro for roughly 4-5 months now maybe more, I wnated to make it into my main bank for saving plus for general use, I have not been able to access my online banking I have requested about 5 different magic words over the months, spent roughly 4 hours in the Bexleyheath bank branch trying to sort the issues out in branch and not including how many times I spent via mobile phone.The issues was iventually sent to the I.T team and i was told someone would call me but they have not and it has been months, Today on the 13/07/2023 was the last day i tried to resolve the issues after requesting another magic word and had the account refreshed and it still did not work, i have to wait another 24 hours before i can close the account but tomorrow after 3:15pm i will call to just have the account terminated.Update told them to close the account and i should have recieved a letter in the post but didnt and its been another 2 months since i told thme to close the acocunt and was told i will recieve a letter stating the account was deleted, nothing recieved, emailed them tiwce they did not even bother to reply.

Awful Bank. I went to the Bank at 12pm. I was told there was an hour delay. They took my number agreed to contact me an hour later. They sent me a text confirming they were ready to see me. I was stood waiting for another 40 mins. I walked out. Terrible customer service.

Terrible service. They said they are busy and took my no down to call me but nothing. I came back and there were at least 6 staff sitting and talking but no one to help. Sitting here waiting for help.
