Room details said "Free wifi" what they actually mean is you get free wifi for only 30 minutes per day - then you have to pay!!!! What an absolute joke!!! Ontop of their prices already! Can't believe it. Scam. Other hotels will actually give you free wifi for the entire day (wow what a concept!) for the same price.

Staff are really great but all the managers are not. Very negative and bossy about silly little things. Room?s not cleaned unless demanded and you have to take your rubbish out to disgusting bins outside. All in all a thoroughly unpleasant experience and DEFINITELY NOT VALUE FOR MONEY.

I don?t seem to learn. After staying here in 2022 I thought I?d give them another try.In 2022 I had an awful experience? but thought because of convenience? I would try them again? but will never again. I did not do a review back then but thought I need to this time to warn future guests of how awful this place is.I did a walk-in a couple of days ago at about 3pm (which is the check-in time) at the hotel after checking availability online but wanted to pay cash? so I thought I?d head on down. Only to find a long line of patrons waiting for someone to appear at the check-in desk. The very same thing happened in October 2022 and I just thought no. I cannot. At about 15:15 someone appeared to irate guests asking where he was only to be told that they should have rung the bell. Laughable when it clearly states check-in is from 3pm.As I say, I stayed at this hotel in October 2022 for a week and my room was never cleaned/ freshened-up once? nor was my bed changed or anything replaced/ replenished. They now have signs at other Travel Lodges you can hang on the door to request things like a coffee station replenishment or fresh towel requests but back then? no one even once knocked on the door to check if there was anything at all that I needed. Also, one night my room was sold to another guest who tried to gain access to my room but I had locked the door from the inside only to be woken again a few moments later with the night manager trying to access my room. I advised him that I had been here for 4 nights already and I couldn?t possibly understand how they could have no record of me? I complained the next morning but the manager was unavailable. He never came back to me either but I was told to contact customer services. Unbelievable. I should have but the manager should also have taken some responsibility. The hotel has weeds growing up the pavement outside the front and is in dire need of an upgrade. I just couldn?t and walked out. I am so glad that I did not stay here and that I did not pre book and pay after having terrible flashbacks.

Ideal location and good cheap parking available for overnight stays. Decent rooms and friendly service. Only negative need to get lift from car park to reception as couldnt find any stairs but apart from that cannot fault. Will stay

Generally a good stay but staff obviously didn't do job correctly so 5 days later got a parking fine by Horizon. Appealled this and told it was due to Travelodge not completing log in

A good and comparatively cheap hotel (especially on New Year's Eve). It is approximately 45 minutes from London by tube. The rooms are a bit old but completely fine. There is a supermarket in the immediate vicinity and the bus stop in front of the hotel. Check-in and out were very quick.

Great location for visiting gtech stadium and Kew garden and great access to London.Safe underground parking £8 for 24 hoursRoom (203) was basic but clean, smelt of smoke but realised we were above the main doors where people stand and smoke! Quite noisy as next to the lift, stairwell and start of the corridor!Food was ok, took an hour to come out of the microwave! There was only one person working on the bar and cooking the food.Breakfast was okStaff on reception were quite miserable and didn't explain anything such as parking, breakfast etc literally passed the keys over and mumbled the room number!Asked for more tea bags/milk- only 3 of each looked as if I was asking for gold!!Only stayed for one night and it did the job!Rooms: Standard Travelodge, nothing fancy, very basic, could probably do with some tlcNearby activities: Bus stop outside, train station 10 mins, Brentford FC 15 mins, Kew gardens 20 minsSafety: Need room key to back into the biking and use the lift.Walkability: Easy walking distance and flat!Food & drinks: Mostly microwaved, took over an hour to arriveNoteworthy details: Handy having parking, easy access to train links
