Shocking experience today. Read on?.Came in on a Sunday morning to purchase milk.Having paid, the self-checkout crashed. I pointed this out to the colleague covering the checkout. I showed him the payment had gone through on my card via Monzo. He said fine, happy for you to leave.I get to the exit and I am physically stopped from leaving the shop by the security guard. I showed him the payment on my phone, but he wouldn?t accept it.The duty manager (Fatima) then arrived. She proceeded to call Mitie security emergency line.During this time, both Fatima and the security guard filmed me on their body cameras. I used my own phone to record the incident too. At this point, both colleagues became very defensive. The security guard then decided to record me on his personal phone.Finally, after being refused a refund of my items, Fatima called 999 to contact the police. Clearly met with a very unfavourable response for the sake of Sainsbury?s IT equipment failing and £4.05. Ultimately, wasting police time. Nice work Sainsbury?s.Video footage en route to Sainsbury?s Director relations.

There is currently a discrepancy between prices paid on the counter and the prices on the shelves for some items (e.g. walnut cake and Mediterranean vegetables). This is not really acceptable, since this is the second time this has happened. Overall, I am trusting Sainsbury's less and less, and will start to look for other stores. That said, I need to add the staff were quick and efficient in dealing with refunds.

Very busy store. You can get all you need on the go. Variety of products available in groceries, fresh, produce, bakery and bws.

Kiosk staff very rude not acknowledging me after I said good morning. Then speaking Spanish to the customer behind who must of been her friend. Couldn't see the whole name badge as she hid it behind her jacket. But started with a B. Very poor standards

I have never been so offended and disrespected I have been working for Tesco for 4 years in retail, the way the security with the dreadlocks in a pony tail who I do not know by it?s name closed the door in my face in this Sainsbury?s it was 11:40pm on Friday 5th November ,I asked him various times what time it closes as it said 12pm there was only 2 customers being served and a few being let out . The customer service that was presented to me was appalling and I will go back the next day ask for the name and will be contacting head office it?s such a shame as I am a local I hope something or someone can change this and make customers feel more welcome and be spoken to with respect .Thankyou
