Robin was very helpful and knowledgeable and gave me great advice helping to purchase walking poles and a sleeping bag. He was interested to know why I was purchasing the items in order to give me the best advice for my use. Would definitely reccomend the store if you're unsure what you need!

I found the staff very friendly and helpful when I bought things in Blacks. The shop has a nice atmosphere when yoy walk in. Everything is easy to find or if not staff are on hand to help.

I didn't actually end up buying anything on this particular visit but the chap that served me was extremely helpful and willing to go that step further to make sure I felt comfortable with any choice I made. A rare thing indeed nowadays.
