Exceptional customer service from the staff, in particular Thomas M who displayed excellent agility and knowledge to prevent unauthorised payments leaving my account, and even kept the branch open later to secure my account! He managed to stop fraudulent activities and advised me on the next steps that I should take, Thank you!

Fake listing, not really a branch: a couple of sales people and a few ATM machines. Head to the branch at Victoria if you need a full service one.

I told the staff a payment was urgent, but instead of getting on with it they said ?yeah ok? and continued relaxing laughing with colleagues on the sofa. I repeatedly told them it?s urgent & needs to be done now, to which member of staff responded ?ok ok I?ll tell the transfer woman?, but then didn?t. Instead of doing it, he started serving a new customer who walked through the door after me. They?re playing with peoples lives. They need to realise some things can make or break a person?s life & destroy it while they?re relaxing.

On Monday 24th October I had the hood fortune of being assisted by Tedros Hoile (maybe Hoyle) at the Kings Road, Chelsea branch of helping me set up a flexisaver account.It was quite busy and there was an energy of impatience ? maybe a slight tenseness in the branch coming from people waiting but Tedros had a very positive and friendly energy that stood out even before I ended up being helped by him.I called HSBC on the phone about setting up an account and the advisor I could only do it in the branch even though Tedros showed me it could have in fact been done over the phone so as a side note :to the powers that be within HSBC ? your advisors need more training, I don?t consider it a waste of time going into the branch because Tedros made it such a brilliant experience BUT if I could have opened my account over the phone with someone guiding me through the website then why on earth did they say I could only do it in the branch?Anyway, Tedros went above and BEYOND, using his laptop he helped me set up my account there and then. I?m dyslexic and he was very calm and totally unrushed even though there were other people behind me in the queue looking impatient and very friendly.I didn?t feel rushed to get out the branch, Tedros took me through each step and explained very clearly what was happening and I have to again be honest ?powers that be? at HSBC , I haven?t had this quality of care and assistance in the 30 years plus I?ve been with you!Can Tedros please be promoted to Head of Customer Services or Customer Relations please? He?s an asset and HSBC should be grateful they have him!So if your passing through ask for Tedros, he?s a class act ?

Useless branch with rude and unhelpful staff. Obviously not interested in getting more customers. Being told to come back in 2 weeks... Don't waste your time with unqualified people.

Terribly cramped space with zero privacy. Feels like some cheap version of a money transfer shop. How do you expect financial affairs and sensitive info being discussed in a loud manner for everyone to hear? Made me feel terrible and i am questioning my custom. Just awful.

Pay in machines not working. Staff sitting at a desk but no counters open. If you have 3 staff why not open a counter.

I understand that banks are phasing out humans and I don?t really care or think it?s a problem as long as the machines work. If the machines are broken you need more humans.

A grim, woke & useless HSBC branch. Full of staff being loud & unhelpful. What happened to traditional banking. I loathe going in here!!

very bad customer service! we are not able to deposit more than 2 banking bags even if there is not queue. I?ve kindly asked that I would have wait in case of a queue but they just refuse to take more than 2 bags at time so I have to go there every day wasting my time.On top of that most of the staff is unfriendly and rude.Fortunately for them, The girl from Greece who works there is just lovely and so helpful.
