I went in to open an account today. I waited 30minutes (3-3.30pm) when it was fairly quiet. After no update or sign of it being any time soon, I left. Waste of time.

Honestly the customer service in here has always been terrible and still to this day it?s the same. You could have 8 members of staff behind the counter, they will still make you wait in a queue behind one person being served. No staff ever greet you as you walk in, just get stared at or ignored completely. In regards to what they do? it?s not that hard so why is everything so long and slow in here.

Visited Friday Morning, I was probably the only customer in store. I had an issue wanting to join the bank online, and explained this to the man at the desk. I showed him the error on my phone. To which is said he was unable to help with this error while holding onto my phone. But his eyes lit up with joy when I told him I will just go to another bank. Strange maybe he did not want to do much work or have the hassle of looking into my query. Anyway it was this banks loss as I ended up signing up with another completely different bank!

I been twice when it was quier and they've very freindly possitive and helpful. Nice people. The manager from malta deserves a premotion. He goes above and beyond dont lose him to somewhere else.

Dismissive and patronising brand manager who did not deal with a formal complaint properly.Utterly shocking service from Jerome who refused to assist me gaining access into the safe box whilst there were literally zero customer in the bank! His excuse was: the colleague who was allocated to do this task today is currently serving someone else! So you might have to wait 15 or 20 mins! Helloo ... How about the rest of you who were sitting behind the counter staring at computer screen! Luckily someone who actually cared about customer stepping in and helped me gaining the access into the vault after I had to explain myself again!Good luck with anyone try to bank with them! Enjoy their outstanding low interest rate and disgusting behaviour from some of their staff members!

Rating is not for the bank, but for the atm outside. Please don't use atm after bank gets closed because you card get jammed inside atm machine and then after you leave, fraudsters hack details and scam your money. Please don't use atm's out of working hours if anything happens immediately block your card no matter what time it is.

Worst Metro Bank branch, worst bank branch,Staff never know what to do, always looking so upset and like they hate the job, takes them forever to do what should take 10 seconds.They need customer service training, and of course banking training.This is my review after several visits, always the same, and getting worst

Unlike HSBC who take days to supply you with a replacement bank card Metro Bank Branches have machines on the premises and do it while you wait .... that's why I left HSBC. Even Barclays has a few special branches where they can produce cards by appointment in emergencies Metro bank are not bad
