How is it possible for a professional supermarket to be so badly run. I went to the butcher counter to buy some beef. The two girls behind the counter were engrossed sharing videos on their phones, until I interrupted to ask a question.They had three different types of bone in rib joints on offer at different prices per kg. Neither "butcher" could tell me what the difference was between them but one was helpful enough to say that they were all beef! No apology was offered and no escalation.Meanwhile their section entitled Duck and Game consists entirely of Duck and no game.What does this excuse of a shop think it's doing?

Good time to pop in - Friday evening around 7pm - fairly empty of the usual throng of local Kings Road regulars and clumsy tourists. Easy to browse and lots of staff restocking shelves who know where everything is. Efficient self checkout monitored and managed efficiently by one young man. A pleasant experience.

Went into Waitrose Kings Road the other day, firstly really difficult to find what you want, no one to help, only 2 tills operating which were not self service were open and the smell in the store is unacceptable. I think the Manager (if there is even one!) needs to give the staff a pep talk on cleanliness!!

Went to Waitrose in the Kings Road Chelsea London today Saturday 7th October 2023 at 3.15pmAfter purchasing my shopping I went to collect my Free Coffeeand there was a note on the Coffee machine that stated cleaning in progress.I asked a Waitrose partner who was reducing items near the machine to ask how long when it will be ready and the Waitrose partner informedme that the Coffee machine has not been working for a long while.I said to her that is not good service and then left the store without myFree Coffee (very disappointing service from Waitrose)WHY LIE TO CUSTOMERS BY PUTTING A FALSE MESSAGE ON THE COFFEE MACHINE?!

Historically this was a pleasant store but there are two ladies (around 50/60 years old) who are ridiculously rude. It?s like a comedy sketch, they are so short tempered and unhelpful. Perhaps because they will leave soon so they don?t care!One is Filipino the other Mediterranean or something like that. There are several people I know who say the staff are awful. STEAR CLEAR IF YOU?RE POC!! I visited this location with my cousin who lives in the area to do some basic grocery shopping. Shockingly, we were racially profiled by two staff members who accused us of stealing without any evidence. They approached us and even called the police, despite the fact that we didn't have any bags and were simply shopping for a white wine dinner. As an American on holiday, I have no intention or reason to steal. This incident left us feeling HUMILIATED and DISRESPECTED, as they caused a scene in the entire store. It's deeply disappointing that such behavior still occurs in this day and age. And to top it all off, what a fantastic impression for the management team to make, especially considering that this location has apparently just opened. Clearly, the staff are already experts at driving away customers and creating an unwelcoming atmosphere.

An utter mess of a supermarket. If there is a senior manager in charge? If so they are entirely incompetent and should be dismissed.The layout is DIRE. The staff are generally completely uninterested..at best!.The wines..OMG the wines are a DISGRACE. Not a single premium wine displayed properly. The stock in general is meagre, tons of items not carried and not a patch on the stock of the Gloucester Road branch. An total disappointment after the previous Kings Rd Waitrose which was infinitely better. John Lewis senior management, you need to descend on this amateur grocery market and fix it. On Kings Road with all the money, high class and high expectations around, you let this lame and seemingly unloved and uncared for store limp along? Beyond disappointed!

Been to the new store three times - cramped, badly designed, confusing layout, bottlenecks, tiny self-check outs, awful stocking levels - last time they were missing so many things that I left without buying - staff act like customers are an inconvenience - won't be going back

Very nice new store. Still finding my way around. Just left there and no bakery items stocked. When I asked I was told not ready yet and couldn't tell me how long. Walked back to MandS that had a fully stocked bakery at 7.45am and bought fresh bread from there instead
