“This is what all convenience stores should be like - the staff are always super friendly, accommodating and willing to help. This is a trustworthy business we have been going to for years for everything from groceries, snacks, to collecting Amazon packages. They also offer luggage storage that we recommend to visiting friends and family. Thank you to everyone who works here!”

“A good size local Co-op store that has pretty much all the essentials. From fresh fruits and vegetables to bread and bakery you can find a lot of essential products like water, milk, yogurt, eggs, and more. There is also a frozen section, too. It used to be cheaper pre-pandemic, but now prices are similar to Sainsbury. An ATM machine is located right outside the shop.”

“Lovely shop with community vibes. A place where you can grab food & drink for a picnic in the park, you can also grab office/school/packing supplies and drop off parcels at the post office inside the shop.”

“Despite being small, this Sainbury's actually has a decent selection and - because there's more self service machines than necessary - I've never had to queue”

“Wow. Honestly one of the best Tesco’s (if not shops) I have ever been to. I feel like it must be a top posting for Tesco employees, because only the friendliest, kindest and nicest people work there. Always service with a smile. And the selection of items! Thoughtful, wide ranging and very well priced. They literally have everything - often my housemates will ask where they should go to buy something and there is only one answer: Tesco Esso Express”

“I don't have a frame of reference for the prices, but they had every random thing I needed and were a miracle to come across. Duck tape, Lady Grey, and Flake candy. Nobody else around had those items when I needed them. They seem to have enough of an assortment of goods to be a great one-stop shop.”

“Super small shop, but unlike their counterpart near Chalk Farm, this Sainsbury's actually keeps their shelves stocked. The staff have always been friendly and you can often get what you need in a pinch. You won't find everything you need but the staples are easily accessible no matter what time of day.”

“Once ID'd me for an energy drink and didn't change their minds after prolonged eye contact. Sold my shares during the pandemic and haven't looked back. Five stars for the memories, I lived just around the corner.”
