Zero stars if possible. Hateful shopping "experience" as no proper checkouts were operating, just those rubbish DIY ones with queues up the wazoo and a few harassed staff endlessly running between flashing red lights and shouting "down here, down here!"Shame on you, Sainsbury - greed is king, eh?

In relation to the trolley self checkout service, I do feel that the elderly with bad backs would perhaps struggle with the low counter, after scanning each item. Other than that, a pleasant place to shop.

Unfortunately this was a disappointment. This store was very down at heel. The freezer section had condensation and rusty screws in the hinges. There's some sort of mango juice spillage in the drinks cabinet where the melon juice is. The really poor thing is it's been that way for over a week. I tried to purchase some lemons. I couldn't bring myself to do it there was a string bag of 3 dehydrated small insipid looking lemond. These were sub optimal. In the end I bought some better produce at the nearby M&S. To my mind the store did not cater to all customers needs I observed that they only had self service checkouts. Some people need a manned real check out with a real person on the till. I will not be returning it was like going to an iron curtain super market in the mid 70s.

Sainbury's near Camden road station overground, canal, Camden Town station-Northern line. It is a very big supermarket. A lot of foodstuffs from meats, fish to poultries, types of breads, household products, cards & stationeries, fresh flowers & potted plants. Many self service cashiers & staffs assistant cashiers. Within walking distance to Camden markets.

Great big store with almost everything you need, but self service system is a joke. There?s about 100 self service tills, but half or more are always switched off, creating a needless long queue every time you go there which is super frustrating. Appreciate Sainsburys want to prevent the occasional theft but it can?t be worth putting every honest customer through a needless queue in the process?

Good place to shop and has a variety of different things but sainsbury has become quite expensive. In the morning there wasn't any till's open and I had to use the self service check out which was so annoying!. I did ask a staff member why isn't the tills open? and they said it's not open yet. Wow tills are not open at 10am ?

Used to queue for ages to pay and leave so i stopped going. Now it's got lots of self service stations so quick and easy, so recommend. Huge variety to choose from.

AS with many others, i now have to actually complain. The self checkout is a complete joke, mayhem every time. The last two visits i literally walked in, saw the state of the check out, with no till staff for proper shopping, and then just left without buying anything. Elderly people being ignored when struggling to use self check out. Both times i planned to do a weekly family shop, no way i'm going through self check out again with over £150 of shopping. Lost my custom now, and i will moan about it to anyone willing to listen, Sainsburys should be ashamed

Since lockdown no fish or meat counter. I can?t stand fresh meat in plastic packaging. I won?t even go now as very hard to find a non self service till open. Downfall of Camden Sainsbury?s in my eyes and many of my friends and colleagues.

Absolutely disgusting. Spoke to a manager about selling out of date products. Trying to insinuate that I didn?t know. The packing code is the date. It?s the 9 August and they are selling items for 7 and 8 August. Told me to take photos.

Wearing their poor remaining employees down and making it even harder for disabled or elderly people to shop. They've now gotten rid of the actual checkouts, and have this catastrophe called "trolley checkout". It's constantly blocked because many who were relying on human interactions to do their shopping are now having to struggle with a self checkout. The store is worse for it, and another bit of humanity has been lost. All just to cut the cost just a few employees, an absolute drop in the bucket of the sainsbury's wallet. Nectar card, and the personal data scraping it requires, is now necessary to get normal prices on many products. Absolutely despicable corporate behaviour and profiteering while we're all struggling with costs.

Crazy alterations. Big busy store but now with only FOUR regular tills. *which were not working* Huge queues the whole length. Self scan tills cannot be the solution. More staff please! (you can afford it)

They?ll do anything to cut a few more jobs. They?ve removed all humans from checkout and removed 20 self checkout spots too. Lines of 50+ are the new normal. Wont ship here until this is fixed.

If you want to use a manned till this is not the sainsburys for you, the checkout queue is long with a lot of self checkout machines prone to errors. Upside the food is so fresh its still growing... it may be mold.

I am a regular customer in this shop. Today they have changed the have reduced the self check out points and installed some "trolley self check out points"A complete nightmare and disorder. They have created a trouble instead than a solution. The only trolley tails were empty and I was not allowed to pay there as I had a basket.... "an stupidity'Totally disappointed!
